So lately I've been taking Fish Oil Omega 3 and Vitamin B Complex w/ Biotin to help speed up my hair growth. They've been helping tremendously to speed it up. About a 1" a month or more.
This year alone I've had a sinus infection, bronchitis(sp?) and now I'm on my 2nd cold. Last time I was sick was 6 years ago with anything. Just wondering if anyone else here is having the same issues?
Ever stop to think that no matter what one does, some kind of bug will still get you. All part of life most likely. (I DO believe that genetics helps however.) For a time when younger I was on a vitamin kick and seemed to catch EVERY (like 5 per year) colds that was out there. Now just a good diet, excerise and very small suppliment and no colds or Flu for at least 10+ years. (NO Flu shots either. Not worth the chance with the deadly stuff they put in them.) Ha Ha Ha.........I only go for the life-threatening stuff now. Much more fun and exciting! LOL :-)

These supplements aren't causing you to get sick more often. Like Justin suggested below, it's probably just a bit of bad luck lately. I have found that taking the supplements you mentioned, in addition to a good daily multivitamin, 1 gram of vitamin C, and about 4,000 IU of vitamin D3 daily has reduced my incidence of catching viral illnesses.

I've been taking a multi-vitamin with both Omega 3 and Biotin (as well as countless other vitamins in it) and have not been sick since I started taking them (knock on wood), and that's with living with my girlfriend who had the flu. I believe hair growth has increased but I can't be 100% sure. Probably just bad luck =\
No issues here.
I've been taking nutritional supplements steadily for the past 30 years or so, preferring fresh foods over processed foods (the less "middlemen" between the Earth and Sun, the better), drinking mostly only water, and avoiding processed refined sugar like the plague.
A few sniffles aside, I have not been ill in 25 years.
If you suddenly change or adopt a new diet/nutrition routine, it is not uncommon for the body have temporary reactions to the change as it adjusts.
1" a month is pretty fast!
