Ive been posting on the site for a couple weeks now & I figured now was as good a time as any to post my first hair lenth picture
I was going to wait & do this on the 1st anniversary of my last haircut. But then I realized that I dont actualy remember when my last haircut was.. I think it was sometime in either March or April but Im not entirely sure
Hi there,
Thanks for the update pic.
That's an amazing head of hair there and always nice to see people with long curly hair and I know it takes longer to grow the length but always great to see.
Well done and keep it growing and look forward to future updates.
Cheers,
John.B
Wow, that's only 9 - 10 months of hair growth?! Very fast! How long was your hair with your last haircut (march/april)?
I hope my hair grows at that rate!
Im guessing my hair was somewhere in the 2 to 3 inch range after the cut, and the hair at the back hasnt been cut since roughly 6 months before that, so it was atleast 3 inches longer than that
Plus, although I know you cant see it, my head was tilted back slightly when I took the picture to stop my hair from getting caught on my shoulders.
Im not sure how it is for most longhairs, but as Im sure the few curly longhairs on here can tell you, curly hair in the early shoulder length range constantly curls back on itself to stay above the shoulders. So tilting my head back was really the only way I knew of to give people an idea of its true length
Granted: when my hair is really wet, it straitens out & the back looks atleast as long as it does it the picture
Wow, those are some tremendous curls! You kinda remind me of Robert Plant with that kind of hair:)Not sure if anyone has ever told you that but you do.Anyway great update of an awesome mane my friend:)I am impressed!Cheers

Sadly im in my very early 20s, so Ive only just recently been paroled from the cultrual blackhole that is teen "culture"
But I looked Plant up online & Id have to agree, my hair does look similar to his.
OMG, now I'm really gonna start feeling old!YIKES.LOL.Still you should check out bands from the day as there was some great music made that is timeless:)It's a shame what is considered popular today but every generation goes through that I guess.

I'm With ya Mark, on the feeling old. Hehehee
I think there are so many great long hair examples from classic rock, prog rock, arena bands, metal and hair bands from back in the day. I myself use Meatloaf as a personal hero. Growing up chubby in the 70's, I had two men in pop culture to look up to know that I too could make it...Meatloaf was one...the other was Ron Jeremy.

Its been my experience that practically all the good music out there is older than I am. Meaning that it was made before the 1990s
Hey ArendJK,
What a glorious curly mane!
How short did you have your hair cut back to in Mar. or Apr.?
What length did you start at?
Raymond
Wow thats quite the head of hair you have! It looks very nice! How long are you considering growing it?

Your gorgeous curly long hair reminds me of Frodo from Lord Of The Rings. It is really thick and full. What is your goal length?
Scott
Afew people have been asking about my goal length, so here it is
If the picture worked there should be 2 lines on it that werent on the orignal. That is my goal length range.
Once my hair grows passed where the top line is, I plan on never letting it be shorter than that again.
The bottom line however, is temporay at best. At the moment I dont plan on letting my hair even get that long.
But once my hair gets passed the top line & I have a better idea what it will look like longer, I might even let it grow passed that line as well. That is, if my terminal length isnt at or above that bottom line.
That is a very nice goal to shoot for as with all your curls it will look awesome at such a long length. Not that where it is now isn't great because it is.You are very fortunate to have the kind of hair that you do my friend:)Cheers
