Just washed the coconut oil out yesterday. the effect of its residue can still be seen in the 'damp' look of the ends. I'm likin' it! ;D
Hi John,
First of all thanks for your comments to my thread below yours as you did notice I spiced it up a bit having Juan pose with the jar.lol.I have to admit its nice having these little longhairs around the house:)I do get jealous of their hair sometimes;)
Your pics look great and I just looooove that bun!I can just see the hair stick poking out at each end.It also looks fabulous in the loose state too as I really like wild and free mane.Good for you keeping your hair long in spite of working the way you do.I have to hide my hair as well mostly for safety but also to protect it from damage.I find you to be a real inspiration and I thank you for your posts to the board John.
Now I just got to try and figure where else I can use all that coconut oil I bought!LOL.Cheers my friend:)

I'm not saying what else you can do with the coconut oil but a friend from Hawaii said it can be ....... fun !!!! ;D .............................
Thanks. I'm very happy I can be an inspiration. I try sometimes. I twist it into a bun at the top of my head without a stick or anything to put it under the hardhat. I love the way it falls out so easily at the end of the day when I go to my car! It surprises the hell out of some of the workers when I'm new on a job, having had no idea all day that I had all that hair! LOOK AT THAT!!!!! They exclaim & point!
Yes, I love when it's down & loose too. That's just what it's there for sometimes! ;p We had some extremely cold days here a few weeks ago, and I wore it down alot for warmth! I just couldn't put it up - except for work under a ski cap of course.
I'll take a picture of all the hairsticks I've made from chopsticks, black & green & yellow bamboo over the past year sometime.

Hmmmm now my imagination is runnin' wild on that one:)It might even keep me awake all night trying to figure that out!Yikes.LOL.Maybe you can provide a hint??
Ha Ha, I bet they were blown away especially thinking they probably thought you were buzzed under that hardhat.
Ah yes the advantages of being a longhair.I'll never understand how the buzzed guys can stand the winter months!LOL.Guess that's why they wear ski caps indoors too.
That would be cool to see John:)You sound like a very resourceful guy:)Cheers my friend.

A hint. It's something x rated. ;D
Hmmmm, now I don't want to sound like a dummy but I may need another clue?LOL

Long hair's great in winter. To be honest, I'm fairly good in the cold anyway, but with my hair loose, I'm comfortable in a T-shirt and jeans (sometimes shorts) whatever the weather. I just love the looks I get from the people who're wearing every stitch they own and still look cold. It's got to be tied up in summer though or I overheat.
That's cool that you're good with the cold! I am too. We're having monsoon weather here in Seattle now, windy sometimes, sprinkling or raining sometimes, and kind of humid & 50s. They call it the 'Pineapple express' cause it comes from the south pacific. We get it alot. There alot of mild weather here in winter, and lots of long haired outdoorsey guys & girls dressed lightly. Even people in shorts in winter! So we don't get the same looks here!!!! People are used to it!!!
Me thinks you are right to be liking!
Thank you!!!!
Your hair style is great!
Thank you very much!!!!!! That does me alot of good!
