Hey Guys
I finally threw my hand up in the air today and made this video for the many many guys that keep emailing me with the questions about "problems" apparently they simply cannot figure out. ie:
1. When should I get a haircut?
2. I have Split Ends after 3 weeks from growing out from my "Buzz Cut."
3. My hair is longer at the back than in the front. What's wrong?
and more!!!
Just unbelievable to myself. When I was young 75 years ago ALL of we guys KNEW what to do to grow long hair............but could it be today less people even know how to think for themselves? Perhaps too much text messaging, iPods and unable to do a thing without a Cell Phone in their ear everywhere they go or refering to a book? (These guys of course are from all over the world and just about every country one could think of.) Two years ago I wasn't getting such questions. Has mentality slipped?
Sure has me scratching my head. (No dandruff by the way.) And, my own hair is continuing to grow back nicely. Today someone accused me of looking like John Lennon. Must have been the glasses. LOL :-)
Please only watch "if" you cannot figure-out the questions above.
Hope all here are well and making it through the Winter as well as possible.

Bravo, I wonder this too. Not only with growing longhair but with a lot of things people cant't seem to think for themself.
Hey Vincent-
Yes.........times are so different now. Everywhere I look I see people walking around plugged into an iPod and text messaging at the same time AS THEY WALK! People go through the stores and "narrate" to whoever they are talking to that they just passed the Peaches and are headed towards the Bananas! Glad I was born when I was. I think we had more fun with all of the non-childproof DANGEROUS stuff. LOL :-)
Take care and nice hearing from you.
Justin~
Ah, the wonder of modern times. These days the crazy people carrying on conversations with themselves or their imaginary friends can easily blend in with the truly crazy people carrying on phone conversations in public as if the rest of us really wanted to hear them. :P
--Dale
and not to forget the people that talk to their 2 Chihuahuas like myself. (But then of course, I have the most exceptional of pets that understand English.) And to think, they NEVER went to a modern day "skool!" (Only a 1 room Dog-House.) LOL :-)
Lol, I know exectly what you mean.
My phone is very old and I only spend 15 euro per year on my prepaid phone. I only call when I need to and leave it at home when I don't want to be called.
I'm very happy I grew up without a computer when I was young. I played outside everyday. Climbed dangerous trees :)
A lot of people just go trough their day without thinking. Wake up to late, eat a bunch of crap and get in their car to commute to work. When they come home they nuke their "food" in the microwave and sit like zombies watching tv. That's not my kind of life, do some thinking and do what you love and get rid of the tv.
I also envy you. I was born in 1989 so I pretty much missed out on the pre-cellphone days. I'm guilty of some things (though slowly breaking more and more away from them) such as playing too many video games etc., but so far I've gotten along just fine without yacking on a phone all day or having headphones permanently attached to my ears.
The worst are those little hands-free Bluetooth phones that people NEVER take out of their ears, even when they're not talking to someone. It's really annoying when they say something, and you don't know whether they're talking to you or to some unseen third party and it makes it difficult to respond. If you ignore them and they were talking to you then they get offended, and if you say something and they were talking to some invisible person they also get offended, even though the entire time they're looking straight at me! It's preposterous.
Made me think of De Niro - lol

LOL, that's about how they make me feel sometimes.

Hey Justin!
That video was brilliant! It certainly IS amazing that more people are unable to either think for themselves or do a little research!
I especially found the part about the haircuts funny! Like you said in your video I get a trim when I feel its time to get a trim!
I also had a good chuckle about the whole thick hair thing! I actually like my thick hair! the longer it gets the more I like it and the way it makes me look!
ahh.. silly people! they amuse me :)
-Kif
Hey Kif! :-)
Best attitude of all when people can amuse. I was actually a bit amused myself at doing this video. NEVER would have believed so many emails recently having to do with things I would have thought most anyone would have just simply known. Oh well, now when the next email question comes my way I just send them this video.
All the best-
Justin~
sounds and looks like justin is becomeing a grumpy old man, too bad, so sad , maybe its just a fad, maybe thats all he had.nevermind i cant ryme anymore, take care dude
So sorry you can't "ryme" anymore. Hey, guess what? Got the email you sent:
This is an e-mail from a user of the Men's Long Hair Hyperboard,
mailing you after reading this message:
http://www.mlhh.org/messages/277572.html
ive been watching and reading you for a while, you are becoming more and more hostile. are you mentaly ill or something
*And now for a little "ryme:" (Special, just 4 U.)
Hostile or mental
hath so little clout
that's cause my brains
once fell out!
Dear Justin
I wouldn't call you Mental, just odd. And there's nothing wrong with being odd. It makes life so much more interesting.
Sounds to me like you're just really fed up with the current technologically overdosed "culture", and at having to answer the same hair-related questions over & over & over & over again. Most of which could have probibly answered if the asker had simply just had and/or used a little common sense.
Personally I'd like to see anyone on here deal with the amount of hair-related stupidity you seem to, without getting atleast alitttle frustraited. I know I couldn't do it.
All things considered, you seem to be holding up just fine.
Personally, I envy you. I spent my highschool years completely surrounded by guys whos' hair was buzz cut length (or shorter) & people texting eachother when they were sitting so close that they were practically touching.
I say again. I envy you Justin. You & every one else who got to experience life before the deaths of common sense & culture.

It's the general culy of helplessness that has been generated these past decades. No one wishes to take responsibility sdo thaey will not think for themselves and make decisions without being told what they should do. Sad. But i will not go further on this lest it open into a real social/political rant.
Anyhoo. Always good to here from you, Justin. Never relent. As for being likened to folks, I have had that all my life. Depending on my hair length at the time. I have been told I look like Peter frampton, or Jeff Foxworthy. Paul McCartney, Peter Tork, etc. People are funny, It's just the hair and Moustache that allows such chimera like abilities I Suppose.
Enjoy your new growth "John" I mean, Justin.
i thought we were supposed to keep it friendly here ????
Hi "Jason W."
Yeah, I kinda agree and it is too bad. Most likely the electronic age has robbed so much out of so many.
So, you have been likened to others also? LOL When I was in my late 20's or something like that, I was then "John Denver." But NOW.........guess I'll have to settle for John Justin Lennon. :-)
Take care-
Justin~
Hi Justin,
I am not sure why, but NOTHING on YouTube is working for me at all today. At first, I noticed that I couldn't see your video, then I did an "experiment", and found out that I cannot view ANY videos on YouTube at all, and it always worked perfectly for me earlier. Oddly, other websites work fine. I will try again later, or perhaps on my other computer. (laptop)
Of course it irks me that you are being subjected to those annoying comments, but that always seems to be the way with all of us embarking on our long hair growing journeys. Ignore those naysayers!
I will try later on to see if YouTube is working better.
Take care,
David
Hi again, Justin,
After a "refresh" and a LONG wait, I got it working, and what a great video! I won't add any more to what I already said in my last message, but I am glad you posted this.
Take care,
David
Hi David
You Tube has been doing some upgrading work but I think they are all through now. When I tried to upload this video, it didn't work the 1st time which has never happened before. Then I read their message way-up on the top of the page. Glad you enjoyed the video and hope you are having a great day! :-)
All the best-
Justin~
Justin,
I would like for you to represent me in Congress. Seriously, you would get my vote.
Yours in sensible admiration,
Val
Hey Val-
That was really nice of you to say. Thanks! :-) Alas however, "if" I had ANYTHING to do with this government and put the rules down, I would be gunned-down before I got a chance. ALL would be put back together as originally intended by the founders..........and, the "Native Americans" not stuffed onto a wasteland dump in which to live. The present education system and the "way" kids are educated(???). Throw it out! The old saying: "Charity begins at home" would reign supreme. It is time that the Americans looked after the Americans and made sure that ALL of their homes were in good order first. And, no sneeky lawyer tricks! A return to a past new beginning so that a true wonderful future WOULD be possible.
Take care Val and thank you ever so much again for your kindness.
Justin~
Hi Justin,
I'm not too worried about my hair; but I am completely baffled as to when I should blow my own nose. Here are my questions that are plaguing me re. this issue:
1) when my nose is runny, should I blow it in public -- or wait for a more private moment, like go to the bathroom every time?
2) will my girlfriend/ boyfriend leave me if I blow my nose too often (or not often enough)??
3) with having long hair, if I have a runny nose and my hair blows across it, should I cut that portion of my long hair off -- or just shampoo & condition it, later??
4) if I'm eating a burrito at my local taqueria, and I need to blow my nose, should I just eat some more hot salsa instead?
5) if I'm eating at a more expensive restaurant, and my parents are with me -- and they are going to pay for my expensive meal -- will they get mad at me if I blow my nose in front of them at the table??
So many questions, so little brains inside my head to figure out the answers (LOL)!!
