You had Troy Polamalu on one side and I'm not sure how many on the other (Clay Matthews, Morgan Burnett, ???).
Must be a bitter pill for some of those armchair athletes with their crew cuts.
Well, such a pity for them all. So sorry I missed it (not really) as I always have. But, ea. to their own and whatever keeps the masses happy.
Just so fascinating how the world (for so many millions of Americans) seems to revolve around this most important(?) yearly event. And they screem their lungs out at their TV sets at the players, (who in fact really cannot hear them.) Hmmmmmm, wonder if they even realize this? ie: The players cannot possibly hear them.
Well, "duh game" is now over for another year and just as the sun rises in east every morning, the whole scene will be played-out all over again in 2012.
One thing troubles me however, that being the bombastic savage rage shown by many. Almost as if they are looking for blood! What a pity they cannot funnel this kind of energy into something more useful. How about starting to scream about being taxed out of their minds in every-which direction so that saving for the future might just be possible again considering the mess we are in.
Oh well, just a thought. Nothing more. Nothing less. In fact, nothing really at all I guess.

Yeah, I don't understand sports fanaticism. Those people on the field/court really have nothing to do with me. In fact, I think Polamalu and Matthews are both California natives, not Philly or Wisconsin 8P
Might be fun to watch, but it's not really part of your life. Maybe they appreciate your support in the stadium, but if everyone stayed home and watched it on T.V., it would probably be a quiet, dreary affair.
Funny you should mention the tight economic times, especially considering the disgusting amount of money these athletes are paid to play a game while their fans sit at home wondering if they'll be able to keep their homes.
Hi Justin, I hear you loud and clear as you make very valid points.Basically this "Big Game" is just "Big Business" and I'm sure all in attendance were of the corporate variety.Do you think that "Joe Sixpack" was able to get a seat in that place!LOL.Hardly.Oh well its all over so now we can move onto the next crisis......

Bread & Circuses. The superbowl is really just a diversion. it has become an Advert festival, with some silly tribal rite involving oversized men in tight pants fighting over a dead pig. Keeps the masses occupied, though.
(as an aside i changed my name to Rktect from Jason W. as I seem to forget the "W." at times and do not wish to annoy the other Jason, or anyone else, for that matter.
Do you think that longhairs made a step forward in being accepted today?

I went to bed yawn!
