here's a side shot showing how thick the hair is now. it's summer over in australia and was a very humid day and the hair puffed out. it was 38 degrees celcius.

Duncan! Nice hair color! Especially during the summer months
you might want to use a light spray gel like Pantene's Spray Gel and then smooth over your hair using a hand towel or dry washcloth. (A Hollywood trick)

thanks for the compliment and advice, i just use organic shampoo and conditioner along with jojoba oil which does wonders for keeping the hair manageable. the pictures were taken on a day when I didn't use jojoba.
i tried numerous times in the past to get past the awkward stage but caved in, but this time i decided to go for it hell or high water.

Yes I did hear about the record breaking hottest February day on record in Sydney recently. 42 degrees celcius or something like that. It was a scorcher! Still these things are sent to test us.
I'm looking forward to the end of February by which time the worst of the summer should be over.
A good swirling fan and a cold bathtub does wonders on hot humid days.
