Great movie and song too! And I would have to add that Johnny Depp is one of my favorite actors and has one of the best looking manes in Hollywood-Usually when he's not shooting he always seems to sport longer locks---Which is very cool...
To answer your question I would have to say that this is the layer growing out stage that is almost shoulder length---I went through this stage about 7 months ago. (personally I think this style looks very good on anyone that wants to sport some longish locks...I guess that I would call it medium length hair.
Yep I saw the movie for the first time in the last year or so, excellent film, I really enjoyed it.
