He had some seriously pretty long blond hair; modeled for Versace, Macy's and more. You might have seen him in print ads; tall, lanky, blond-haired handsome youth with shoulder length (and sometimes a bit longer) hair. Reading the story, I would be willing to bet the driver that hit him was likely under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Sad way to die, he was just 30; way too young. He was part of a growing trend among male models to show flowing locks. He was also a Metal fan and avid skateboarder, activities that tend to birth longhairs. May he RIP and condolences to his family. Story and more pictures in link below.
Male model Eric Zentner dies in hit and run
This is truly sad news Carol as I feel for his family. That's just terrible to loose ones life at such a young age.He is a great looking guy who I'm sure had a great career ahead of him.Hopefully justice will be done in his case.

I am sorry to hear of Eric's death. I recall seeing him in numerous clothing model photos.

Sadly the length of his hair had as much to do with fashion/demand amongst those in his trade than choice.
Poor dude..... I hope he's having good time up their, bless his soul and his hair.:(
Can't say I'd ever heard of him, but it's very sad.
A longhair that I did know personally, by the name of Mark Hedwiger, died under similar circumstances. In his case he was driving along minding his own business when a carload of drunk teenagers pulled out of a side turning directly in front of him.
This is a bummer! We need more high profile people like him to influence society to make long haired men mainstream. The last thing we needed was one less of us. 30 is too young to go! Poor thing! I feel sorry for his family. Lesson learned: Don't run too low on gas! Well, if these companies need another long haired model, all they've got to do is look one of us up, lol!
