I have a question for all of you experts! I have hair that tends to be dry and is very thick with MUCH volume. I want to start co-conditioning and am looking for a good conditioner to use. I know that it must be silicone-free, so I tried Suave coconut conditioner. This conditioner was actually drying for me and did not give my hair nearly enough moisture. Can anyone recommend a good conditioner to use for co-washing which is more moisturizing? Price does not bother me, I'm just looking for something that till work.
Also, do I also have to do deep conditioning treatments from time to time as well? If so, which products do you recommend and how often should I use them? Thanks a bunch.
Hans
Hi Hans,
Kind of hard to answer that question - Our heads of hair are each unique and each respond in their own way to any given hair-care routine.
A regular shampoo/condition wash about once or twice per week, followed up a little jojoba oil finger-combed in has worked well for me.
I have a variety of shampoos/conditioners lining the shower wall. I find that I like to rotate the shampoo/conditioner combination I use for each wash.

I'm another fan of rotating products. I find I often love the results from a new product but then it starts not working as well. That's time to switch and go back to the other one at a later time.
I do a coconut treatment one time a week, then i use mane and tail shampoo and conditioner, i leave the coconut oil in about 3 hours , sometimes i have to wash it twice then use conditioner and leave it in for 5 min then rinse, i personaly have a good outcome from this process, i hope i have helped.
