Well I think I've now reached the three year mark in growth - I dunno exactly when my last cut was, but I know it was near the end of the first term of the school year three years ago, in April, and so i must be just about at the mark. I'm really happy with the growth from a mere inch or so to what it is now, and that's after a trim of about 2 inches last year.
And it also marks about a month of goatee growth! Though I don't expect it to get much better for a few years yet.

Your hair looks fantastic at 3 years.The one nice thing about having straight hair is that there is no hiding the true length as if it were curly or wavy it would look shorter.The quality of your hair looks exceptional and if I were you I'd grow it to terminal:)Not sure what you looked like with only an inch of hair but longhair certainly looks awesome on you!Great update.Cool goatee too;)Cheers my friend....

Your hair looks wonderful, nice and long wow what can I say but keep on growing and flowing. Your goate or Vandyke will get thicker as you get a little older.

Three years it only took to grow to the present length?! That's literally awesome and what good fortune has come your way! You've got the best hair growing genes I've ever seen!! Your type of hair is also so lovely and desirable too. Curious as to your current age?
My hair I believe grew faster in my younger 20s, now I am 31 3/4 years old. I noticed today my hair barely grows 1/2" a year. I shaved my mustache last month and only noticed it grew 3/8" in exactly a month's time. At any rate, I LOVE YOUR HAIR and really hope you grow it to terminal length as well! Please keep us updated in terms of its progress and in pictures.

Charlie, that is magnificent progress indeed for only 3 years. And it looks to be in excellent condition too. With no sign of thinning yet to be seen on the hair ends you are probably more then capable of growing your hair easily to the belt line if you so choose to do so. Again congratulations on an outstanding head of hair. Thanks for sharing your progress, and inspiring others on this forum to keep growing as in case the effort is more then worth it!

Charlie- your hair looks great! I can't believe it only took u three years to get to that length. I have been growing my hair for three years and its only passed my shoulders...However, I did get a trim from an over zealous hair stylist that cut off 5 inches of growth...(I felt like crying lol)
Anyway, keep it up! at your speed you should be by waist level in no time...
