Hello all. I have posted on here once or twice in the past. This is my fourth time growing my hair out, starting from October '10 this time. I work in retail so it's hard to achieve my goal of shoulder blade-length hair. I get away with about shoulder-length, and I am working on getting out later this year onto another career platform (can only hope!). It will be a company that does not discriminate against long hair....or facial hair!
Anyway, here's how it basically was in October:

Just a small self-trim in the back is all, so far.
And for fun, a couple from 2007/2008:

Hey man,
Your hair looks great!! Def do not cut it! Like the restaurant business which I'm in is a bit tricky to work around...It's just finding the right establishment that does not care about your look...In my opinion as long as you are clean and can do your job how you decide to wear your hair is not up to a companies decision. For me it's like telling me who I should date-It is discrimination in my opinion...Therefore, man keep it growing if want and just find the right place to work in. You will feel and be so much productive when they let u be yourself! Good-luck!
Dee.
