Hey guys,
Just wanted to say that I am considering joining the MLHH. I guess you could say I'm just your average longhair, and I do face a bit of disapproval from my parents over my hair, but I'm just gonna keep on going with it. I go to college in a year or so anyway, so I only have to deal with it on a regular basis a little longer.

I'm afraid to say that parent's disapproval is just something you learn to live with. Hopefully once they realize you're serious about growing it out they'll be a bit less vocal about it. It also helps that once it gets sufficiently long it tends to be less unruly and looks more 'presentable' in their eyes. Good luck on your journey!
