Hello, I'm new here and found out about this site today. I really like it so I thought "hey why not show my progress so far." I have always wanted to grow my hair long since around 6th-8th grade, but I always avoided it because other guys who had long hair were made fun of. So I graduated last year, and got my last hair cut in July. Since I was out of high school I decided it was finally time to grow the long hair I have always wanted. My goal is to have my hair just slightly down my back, but who knows maybe I'll just keep it growing.
Welcome to our little corner of the world, it looks like you're off to a great start! I think you'll find this to be an excellent support group, there are people at all stages of their longhair journey to help you. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress!

Hey Corey,
Welcome to MLHH!
You'll find that your longhair brothers here are very supportive of guys like yourself who want to grow their hair out. We'll be only too happy to encourage you and to help you with tips as to how to grow out your hair and to care for it.
You're off to a great start. If you've always wanted long hair then you are probably a born long hair. It's part of who you are. It's only right then that you should let your hair grow.
I hope that you let your hair grow out to its terminal length.
Keep us posted on your progress.
Raymond
Hi there Corey, your hair looks to be in fantastic health, and has good volume. It will only look better as you continue your journey to long hair. :)

Corey,
It looks great and shows great potential. May you have fun with it as you grow it out! I started after high school, but many years ago. I've never looked back!
Welcome Corey, its a pleasure having you participate here and hopefully we can be of service in regards to encouraging you to follow your longhaired dreams:)I've been out of school for a very long time but I can remember how difficult it is to be different from the clones.I never had longhair in school either so in that way you are taking the same path that I took.I can say after growing it long I loved it so much that I never had short hair again:)I never tired of taking care of it or got bored with it.Do what you feel is best for you as I wish you the best in your journey. Please do keep us posted on your progress my friend.Cheers
Mark

Greeting Corey,
Nice to see you've submitted an update of your hair growing progress. Your hair has great shine and is going to look great at your goal length. I did not grow it in H.S. due to parents urging + I was an athlete. I, like you, started growin after. When moving out of the parents house at the age of 20. Keep it growing and good luck !
Peace
