Couple weeks ago I posted a pic of my tail. and thank you all for the rsponses. Here is a pic form in fron, takenabout 5 days ago. My hair is definitely shorter in front yet has gotten long enough to all be pulled back when I wear the tail. I hope it develops the classic 'V' shape as it continues to grow, and it WILL continue to grow.
Looking great Rktect! It's just going to get better.

Hi Rktect,
Your hair is looking great and I'm confident as the weeks and months go by you will be pleased with your additional length:)Just avoid doing any so called "maintainance trims" as that will only slow your progress.Certainly keep us posted as its cool seeing new longhairs progress:)Cheers
Mark
All is looking great and how wonderful that you are having such success. Keep it growing! :-)

Hey Rktect,
Awesome hair, dude!
Thanks for your comments to my response to "What long hair means to you?". Your hair looks fantastic. I hope that you keep it growing. When you were younger did you ever grow your hair out to terminal length? Let's go for it now. It's part of who we are, bro. It's our birthright! It's freedom!

Thank you also for your comments. Much appreciated. I do intend to keep it growing. perhaps to terminal length. To answer you r question. I may go for terminal length. My 1st goal is mid back length. which is where mine generally was, perhaps a bit longer, back in the daze, the late 60s, early 70s. A time when "Terminal length" was not in the lexicon, except perhaps to describe the probability of being caught with long hair in some places. I was slender and lightly built,5'9" 130 lbs, 26 " waist. with the long hair, several times I was greeted with Ma'am, until I turned and the moustache was seen. A few of my friends at that time did manage waist length hair. It could be an "exciting " time for long hairs. Many of the same folks that had an intense hate for long hair sported just that only a few years later. Friends travelling through N.E. Arkansas in '71 stopped to eat, were receiving hard stares, heard locals talking about having a "Hippie Bar-b-cue" and decided to get out of town , quickly. Cops did pull you over for being a long hair, Often citing other reasons, but everyone knew. Friends and I were walking across an outdoor shpopping mallin suburban St. louis, where we grew up, money in our pockets, ready to make purchases, and we got caught in a roundup of longhairs and sent off to the local jail for vagrancy. All were released with charges dropped, but it was harassment, pure and simple. Interesting times, indeed, for longhairs.
