For those of us who actually lives and don't look through the archives when they're bored, here's a link to the thread: http://www.mlhh.org/archive/?20120
Now I have some things to say. First off, Shelley, if you're reading this, I would like to say you sound like a fantastic mom. That woman at the salon must have been seriously ignorant and cruel to do that to a kid. Second, is it all right to ask how your sons and daughter are doing? I hope they are well. Maybe you could ask one of them to post here! I wouldn't mind seeing a picture!
There don't seem to be any other posts by corvus, and this refers to a ten year old post from a woman who possibly wishes her sons had been girls. Although I'm not quite sure about the OP, some of the replies she got were definitely in that vein.
Seems odd to be raking through the archives and dredging this up from ten years ago.
The OP here does not ring any bells.
WOW, such a sad story. Stupid people like her (lady in the salon, not shelley) make me angry but I am so surprised by the way she acted about it. I occasionally get told by classmates that I should get a haircut but just let the comments pass because they're only out of advice. But having someone yell at me... never.
