tail pic taken this morning
Howdy. Your hair looks sooo good. I know you went through something and I wasn't sure it would become this beautiful!
Thanks Chris, I too do not think my hair would recover after the surgery, especially when it was coming out for a time in clumps!
Wow, looking fantastic Karsten, hope things are looking up for you.
cheers Dave
Thanks Dave, yes things are better health wise. The Jeep had major issues so had to get a different vehicle, but at least it's good on gas. Hope to get some better mane pics taken over the summer.
Very nice! Great length and ends look good!
Thanks for the response, I try to take care of my mane and it's still growing!
Fantastic Karsten, you set a very high standard for us to try and follow. Thanks for sharing your update
Ian
Thanks Ian, will try to get some better photos (outdoors)taken over the summer.

Your mane looks gorgeous, Karsten. Keep it growing.
Scott
Thanks Scott, I'm still striving for your length -and beyond!
Hi Karsten,
Your hair looks fabulous and very thick up to the ends so I'd say you made great progress since your medical issues from awhile ago.Actually your hair looks so good its as if nothing bad ever happened to it.I'm very happy for you getting your health back and having your beautiful mane return to its glory:)Hopefully you too are as satisfied with your comeback.Cheers my friend.
Mark
Thanks Mark, I think some of the credit for my hair looking good is the guy I go to for very minor trims to clean up the ends. He knows I'm striving for as much length as I can get.
Hey Karsten,
That's great you know someone who understands and respects your longhair goals:)You have respectable length even now so anything more is icing on the cake!Certainly I'm happy for you getting your health back which must feel good considering all you went through. Thanks for posting your update and hope to see more of you here like the good 'ole days my friend:)
Mark
Hi Karste,
What a fantastic update, and your hair seems to have regained it's former thickness. I hope you are feeling a lot better these days, and that your health issues are a thing of the past.
Keep it growing,
David
Thanks David, yes feeling better but still not like I was before the surgery, (and never will be). Hair is getting it's thickness back.
Gorgeous...absolutely gorgeous hair!
thanks, at my age (56) I am lucky to still have a full head of hair
This inspires me, because I had a massive shed early this year, resulting in a thin spot on my crown. I had to actually cut back my previously nearly waist-length hair by several inches because the ends were so thin. I now have new hair filling in on the crown, but wondered whether it would ever get back to it's former length and fullness. Obviously, it has for you. Sucks when health issues affect your hair, but you have recovered very well.
In my case, I think the stress of moving, plus a lack of meds for two conditions that can contribute to hair loss (thyroid and adrenal disorders); were factors that led to the shed. I was already shedding after the move, and was without two meds for nearly a month due to various problems with getting new doctors, switching providers, etc. Now that all that has been resolved, I'm seeing half-inch to 1 inch baby hairs coming in.
You look like you have recovered very well, and it will certainly get better as the new hairs get longer; gives me a lot of hope that I will recover as well.
Have you tried taking a stress formula? I found that to be a big help -and still take them along with Biotin.
I take all kinds of hair-healthy stuff; MSM, Omega 3's, Lecithin. Not Biotin, because my predominantly whole grain high fiber diet is already rich in Biotin. I will have to check out stress formula and see what's in it. Thanks!
Awesome mane, dude! It's really getting there. :D Keep growing!

Thanks, hope to be almost sitting on it by the end of the year!
Gorgeous and impressive! A sight to behold! Thank you for posting!
Looking much better!
Given all you've been through, that tail could tell a tale!
