As the subject says.. do they?
I am new to this site and growing my mane out.
Doubtless

Yes indeed, I had shoulder length hair most of my life, then cut it short in the back and kept it long in the front for a few years. Since I grew my hair back to shoulder length I get compliments and stares from Girls/ Women all the time...
Love it...lol...
Women I've noticed in my area don't care if a man has nice long hair or not. That's the last thing on their mind. Even if it were true they wouldn't admit to it. All they're after is attention, status and the man's bank account. They have the mentality of whores.
Women in my area are really unfriendly, lowlife scum of the lowest caliber. They're very mindless, degenerate, antisocial sorts who live in my neck of the woods. They're also very distrusting and paranoid.
Welcome to Queens, New York. It's a place where people just don't think and would refuse vehemently to even try. It's a place where ethnic clan leaders rule, trust and common sense in others is nearly unheard of. It's a place of backward immigrant mentality, where religious dogma prevails above anything else, where people don't speak english and are oblivious to the understanding of thinking for one's self. They are clueless to the ideas of freedom and liberty. It's a place of weak minded people. It's where the garbage of the world assembles, collects and comes together to create worse, even more oppressive government. All liberal democrats and conservative neo-cons are one in the same: COMMUNISTS!
Go to Hairfreaky's page on Youtube, read all the replies from women to his videos. Jealous much? Hell yeah! Lot's of hair envy there, but that guy's got the most gorgeous blond locks; who wouldn't be? Plus, women can have problems with thinning and baldness; it's not just a male thing. Women don't talk about it much, and they typically don wigs to hide it. I can guarantee those women especially envy guys with long hair.
Right now, pixie cuts are all the rage in Hollywood, several actresses are donning them. When the trends change to long hair(trust me, they will soon), the silly ladies who opted for the pixie cuts will be shelling out bucks for hair extensions. Since men who have long hair typically avoid trends/fads, they will be envied by their pixie-cut wearing family, friends and acquaintances. I had a pixie as a little girl, no way would I want one as an adult.
Girls tell me how soft and smooth looking my hair is, haha.

Yup.
It is a fairly common refrain I hear, interestingly, I get it both when my hair is down, as would be expected, but also when it is up!
I hear it from women of all lengths and apparent quality of hair...so some of it is envy of my hair type, not just the condition or length.
Well you do have beautiful hair, long and thick and dark. So I can see why many women would be envious of your hair.

When I was in university there was a girl in my group whose hair, though about the same length as mine then, was rather sparse. She would always ask what I used for my hair, grumbling "its not fair, yours is so long and thick and growing while mine is not growing but dropping" :)
If your got thick and curly hair your probably got the head of hair most women would want! Most girls for some reason seem to think that curly hair is desirable!
Quite the opposite is true from my observation. I see countless numbers of foolish women ruining their hair's health by forcing it to become straight.
I've had women say they wish they had my natural curls.
There is envy and admiration - two seperate things.
I love guys with long hair (I prefer straight to curly) and for some reason most men with long hair have 'better' hair than women! No idea why!! I'm not envious, although I often think 'I'd love hair like that' and 'he's so lucky' - admiration, you can't get better than that!! I just wish more guys with red/ginger hair would grow it out - they seem to be more self concious than most men for soem reason - yet it looks fantastic long!!
Asdis (female) :)
Thanks, I will let it grow out, and have red/ginger hair :)
My work here is done!! :)
It is nice to know that some women like men with long hair, but i have never met one personally. Wayne
Maybe you have but havent realised it - we are around :) And maybe we're a bit quieter & shyer than others, you never know.
Thanks for the replies.. definitely growing my hair out, but it is only below my eyes right now.
