Can not stop swearing - my hear is constantly on my way, bloking my sight and I can not keep it back unless I wear a hat or a bandana, which I don't want to wear at home or indoors. I was thinking to get a strong hearspray to freeze it, but it just might look stupid. It is not long enough to put together on the back in ponytail, it will be several horrible months until it is over. Does it have to be horiible?
No, Just think of the pleasure you will get when it's past that awkward stage and enjoy!

Seriously.

Be a man and deal with it, because it WILL get there if you just give it time! When you can tuck it behind your ears, it's a huge milestone, at least for me, because then you can get it out of your face at least. It took me over a year of growth before that happened, and the few months before were really frustrating, but i stuck with it and now it's growing without bothering me :)
If you're not there yet, try combing it back, maybe using some kind of gel. I just dealt with it naturally, which was hell at times, but that worked too.
;DDD I am awed!!!!!! Dude, that was an awesome answer! You've got my respect!!!!!!! You Dutch usually are tough though, and earthy. One of my favorite places, though I've never been there.

Thanks! I'm swedish, though ;)
Oh. ok. Sorry. No offence. Sweden's like that too - very progressive. I've seen some movies from there. I like that climate. It's similar to mine here, in fact, there's alot of Swedish people who've moved to this area over the last couple centuries because they found the climate & landscape similar.
Nice to get your reply. Thanks.

Taking it like a man - would not be a smart thing to do, it realy was dangerous when for example I am driving and have to have a quick pick before changing lines and all I would see is a hair curtain. My hair is weavy and thick, I have tried some styling gells, it did not work.
Hi there... my two cents...?
How about you try to find a 'light' gel to use, instead of hairspray?
I dunno if you have it available, there... but there's a hairgel by Garnier, I think... Fructis Wet Shine
Its a medium strength gel, so it'll keep your hair in place, but still flexible enough to look natural. Plus, give you a nice shiny wet look.
If you can't find it where you live, I'm sure there are other brands selling something similar...
Just a suggestion...
Peace.
If you're desperate for control, one non-damaging solution is unflavored gelatin. You can mix it up at greater strength than the recipe on the packet and comb it in warm. It's probably good for your hair; it certainly won't hurt it like alcohol-based gels and sprays. If you make it really strong, your hair will have the texture of a bowling ball.
Unlike most hair-dressings, it firms up by cooling rather than drying, so if you try to blow it dry, it will keep it liquid. Synchronized swimmers use it so that their hairdos will actually get firmer in the cold water in the pool.
Just Google 'gelatin hair gel', and you'll find all kinds of advice.
Just a few more weeks patience will see it through.
No way man. Only if YOU allow it to be thought of this way.
Justin~
Found a great solution. My friend brought me a hair holder hardware :) I don't know what it called, that goes arround my head and spikes in to the hair to hold it back.
