Heya everyone! First time here, glad i bumped into this awesome site. Great to see so many guys letting their locks flow! I grew my hair out to shoulder length about 4 years ago then cut it back short thanks to pressure from peeps. I knew I felt more comfortable with long hair so I started growing it back out about 18months ago (from about a 3 inch length). My hair is pretty curly so it takes much longer to show a good length than straight hair. At this point I'm ready to get it restyled and shaped to avoid crazy uncontrollable curls, but when wet it is now well beyond my shoulders I'm happy to say! It's only the beginning, and I can't wait for it to get longer and crazier. I love my lion's mane haha.
Cheers!
Welcome and glad you bumped-into this great site.

Hey Cormack!
That is some amazing hair you have! I would KILL to have hair like yours! Hope you are enjoying your longhair journey for the 2nd time. With me, I found that my hair has been in much better shape this 2nd time growing it out.

Nice hair! I had shoulder length hair last year and cut it off, kind of looked like yours... I'm on the road to recovery from a shave now! Just feel better having long hair :)
Coremack, Welcome! You have wonderful looking hair. Great color and curls. I would avoid any "major" trims or restyles that would require quite a while to grow back out. Bandannas or caps might help you control the curls! Good luck with "take two".
peace, jonalbear
Wow your hair is beautiful and thick many women and men would give an arm or leg to have your hair. Good luck in continue growing.

What superb hair - there is something about curly hair which makes me jealous.
i would avoid any drastic cutting - bandanas/alice band can both help control when you need it. No need whatever to cut it to tame curls.
Wow, what a great start to round two. Keep with it, no more trims and what a champ you will become!
Good luck. Ian
That's hair to die for! ;p

I think your hair looks excellent. I'm looking forward to seeing it as it progresses. Keep us posted. Take care
awesome hair man, you have the same hair type as me lol. you goin terminal?
Hey Coremack,
You are part of an elite group of longhairs here, as I feel there's nothing more awesome-looking than a well-maintained looooong CURLY mane!!!
It's easy for those of us with relatively straight or even wavy hair to grow long locks; but with naturally curly hair, to achieve a mane as nice-looking as yours, it takes a little extra care & attention to pull it off that well -- and may I say, "AWESOME job!", too!!
Anyway, rest assured that you are in good company here, as there are a handful of other longhaired curly folks that have been an inspiring part of this group in the past -- and hopefully your excellent example will also encourage even more curly-haired folks to add their names to the growing # of additional longhairs in the future!
Take care -- and a warm welcome to you here at MLHH!
