Monkey suit pic from behind. What do you'all think
Glinka
Hi Glinka,
Your hair looks great in that segmented tail there -- VERY professional!
I'm not a big fan of white suit jackets, however. Being overweight, white makes me look even more-so... hence my preference for darker-colored suit jackets (whenever I "HAVE TO" wear one).
You look much slimmer than myself; but I still think a darker color would look more flattering on you.
Many years ago I went with a friend to get my "colors" done. I was very skeptical about the whole idea beforehand, but the woman friend who wanted me to go with her encouraged me to to keep an open mind about it. After the whole consultation was over, I was astounded at how differently I felt about it all -- it literally changed my view about myself, as well as I learned what colors looked best on my friend.
... Something worth thinking about, anyway!
My best to you, Glinka!

Hi Ken,
Dude, I know what ya mean about the dark colors, Im about 30 ibs. overweight rite now so a navy suit on me would probably help, but its been so hot here in New york these past couple days, I thought the light color blazer would help.
Funny you say you had your "colors" done. When my wife and I were younger ( BK = Before Kids ) we were in an Amway organization. The cosmetic line Artisary, had the,( usaully women), " do your colors " and they did mine. I found out I was a " spring " or light colors suited my compexion. What a coincidence , I was born in the spring. Thats why I never buy a white shirt anymore just offwhite or cream.
Oh here I was in my slimmer days 13 years abo (attchd pic )

( Now if i new my clors then it could of been a cream colored Tux )
Hi Glinka,
Very smart, glad you didn't get it cut!
Good luck with the new job. Ian
Ian ,(Do ya pronounce it YAN or EEan ? )
Thanks , hope i get the job . pray for me!
Glinka
Hi Glinka, it's "eean" - cheers!
Looking good, and definitely professional! Glad you didn't get a cut and hope all works out with the job.
I've come close to cutting mine a few times (it's about shoulder length now), and am also glad that I didn't. One time I came *extremely* close, as in if I had a pair of scissors on my person my hair would probably have hit the floor. Phew! Too close for comfort. I guess this is why we have the 2 week rule though.
I don't have a family to support so it's easier for me to relax about not finding work right away, but when my hair is acting up or feeling rough and puffy then I can become quite frustrated with it, but on the good days where it's smooth and soft and lays down I just love it. I need to try a filter for my shower head though, we have really hard water where I live and the water softener doesn't work, so I think that also makes my hair less smooth a lot of the time (calcium and other minerals coming out of the shower head and onto my hair and whatnot). I have to use a lot of shampoo to wash, and a rinse without shampoo just makes it feel bad like there's build-up (so I don't do rinse-only anymore), I think it's the minerals. If I ever get a filter I'll try and remember to let you guys know how it works out.
Gah, sorry for derailing, hehe. I have a bad habit of going off on a tangent sometimes. Hair looks good Glinka!

Wat up Anthr Schmoe,
Can definatly relate to the feelin of soft silky hair... maybe thats why I dont cut it.
Hey, maybe you want ot try a whole house filter for your water, or even better yet if you can afford it. Get a water company come and test your water to see the best method of how you should go with the conditions that are there. Maybe by contacting the local Co-op organization they can recomend a reputable Company. Just a thought
