Hey there guys, little while back I had posted my hair soon after a shower. The lighting was bad and seeing as it hadn't dried it looked greasy and "wild," as someone had said. I figured I would post a few new pics so you can see it while dry and tame lol. As you can see it has a lot of body, and for now while it is shorter I come it to kill some of the curls until they get longer and weigh themselves down. Here is three pics, 2 side views and one front so you can see some of the bang curls.

You have a great body of hair to work with and grow out.
I have similar hair to yours and can assure you that in time your curls will become more like waves when your hair is long enough to "weigh" them down and "stretch" them out. I feel your pain brother. The good news is that I reckon by the end of this year the worst of the awkward stage will be over for you. Those who admire or want curly hair are usually the ones who are "blessed" with non-curly hair.
On the plus side of things having curly hair is certainly never boring and it has a "mind" of it's own.
