So,folks, it's 17 years since my last trim. Only 22 years until I reach my goal of 39 years with no trims I was 39 years old when I had my last trim in 1994.
No extra growth since last year - in fact no extra growth since about 1999, but every hair I have (not as many or as much as I would like) must have grown to terminal, fallen out and regrown almost three times.
Still enjoying the journey as much as ever, and good luck to everyone with their goals.
Your enthusiasm for and love of longhairdom is both encouraging and contagious. Congratulations on 17 successful years, and here's to the next 22 and beyond!

Thank you for your kind words - Iam looking forward very much to the next 22 years and beyond.
Congratulations in adopting the Benjamin Franklin look and giving the defiant middle finger to MPB.
A little bit of hair is better then no hair at all and it's a pity that so many former longhairs cut their hair back to a buzz cut when their hair begins thinning noticeably.
And if anyone says your got a skullet - tell em to get f**ked! As your hair above your ears are all long it cannot be a skullet.
Cheers,
Duncan
Thank you! I hadn't though of Benjamin Franklin as my inspiration, but I could do worse!
Thanks so much for sharing your update. I love your resolve to keep up with your longhairdom despite the efforts of nature. Congratulations. Ian
Thank you - I am good on resolve - so I hope to keep nature at bay for a long time.
Former governor and pro-wrestler Jesse Ventura has been sporting that exact same look. I think your tale is longer than his though. And possibly a bit thicker too!
Interesting - I looked up Jesse, and found a few pics - so at least I'm not alone!
Looking just great bte!
Happy hair farming,
- Oren
Thank you - definitely enjoying the farming.
