Well guys, It's been exactly a year since my first photo was taken showing the then length as I started to record my monthly growth. I just can't put into words how fast the time has flown, I remember taking the first photo as If it were yesterday, and the change in both the quality and length of my hair hopefully shows. My hair was severely damaged around the timing of the first photo, I think you can tell, and this was due to over 3 years of daily straightening. Well, since I put down the straighteners and let my hair choose it's own path, it has remarkably healed and the thickness and body has exceeded my first expectations!
I value the advice and support from this great board, even If my posting habits haven't been what you may call ''full time'' lol :P I apologize for the massive text, I'm just so happy I made the leap and just simply went for it :)
Kind Regards, James
James, your hair looks hands down stunning!I'm amazed at the comparison between the two photos and how much your hair has grown.Thankfully you gave up on torturing your mane and just went natural.I'm sure your hair wouldn't look nearly as nice had you continued straightening it.Great progress and hope to see you again soon.Cheers

That is quite a gain for a year. Your hair looks really full with lots of body to it. Keep it growing for sure.

Hi James, an amazing before and after comparison, many congratulations. Throw those scissors, straighteners etc away and enjoy each month of new growth. Well done, Ian
Hi James,
Thank you for sharing your update with us. You have made excellent progress in a relatively short period of time, and I cannot get over how thick your hair is!
Keep it growing,
David
Congrats James on your progress. Looks great. How long are you going to continue growing? I'm trying to aim for at least a year and then will see how it goes from there. Thanks for the update as it helps to motivate and inspire.
Nice progress, James. Your hair looks about 5 inches longer than when you started growing it. And you are lucky to have thick hair. Keep growing!

James,
your hair's sick, man. It's inspirational for me, 'cause I'm gonna start growing my hair out after school. Good luck with your growth in the future, and I hope that all goes well! :D
