The following is a song I wrote today based on LOVE POTION # 9.
Enjoy.
I WAS BALDER THAN A BILLIARD CUE
I DIDN'T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TO DO
SO I PAID A VISIT TO THE WIZARD NEXT DOOR
HE GAVE ME A BOTTLE OF HAIR TONIC NUMBER FOUR.
LOOKED IN THE MIRROR AT MY HAIRLESS MUG
OPENED THE BOTTLE AND I GAVE IT A CHUG
NOTHING SEEMED TO HAPPEN SO I DRANK A LITTLE MORE
OF THAT MAGIC POTION HAIR TONIC NUMBER FOUR
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT TO ME I REALLY DO NOT KNOW
GOT ALL HOT AND BOTHERED STARTED SWAYING TO AND FRO
MY SKIN BEGAN TO TWITCH FROM MY HEAD DOWN TO MY TOE
RIGHT THEN AND THERE ALL OF MY HAIR BEGAN TO GROW
I LOVE HOW PEOPLE SEEM TO STOP AND GAPE
NOW THAT I'M HAIRIER THAN ANY APE
MY HAIR AND MY BEARD THEY TRAIL ACROSS THE FLOOR
ALL ON ACCOUNT OF HAIR TONIC NUMBER FOUR
Excellent little poem I can see you writing a book with some illustrations to go along with it.
What with someone using the magic potion and the long hair and beard trailing the floor they would have excellent employment prospects in being a good stage floor sweeper and cleaner at entertainment venues after the show and never having to buy a warm sweater.
Duncan thanks for the reply. Do you know a publisher who would print a book of beard poems? I have about a dozen beard poems that might make a cool little book.
As for your comment perhaps the guy could be in a swiffer commecial (LOL).

Hey KLB,
The bad news: It is very difficult to find a well-known publishing house that will publish anything that is not a money maker.
The good news: You can self-publish! Yes, you have to pay for it yourself. If you are interested, I suggest you Google research it.
Another possible option: If you are a member of a club that publishes it's own newsletter or magazine, you may be able to have one or more of your poems published in it. I had one of my poems published in the TMRA Folly last year (Texas Motorcycle Roadriders Association). The circulation is very limited, but it is still cool just to be published!!
Finally: Just type out and print your poems, arrange them in folders (perhaps decorative), and give to your family/friends/whomever. You never know where it might go from there...
Good luck! :)
