Hi, as you may or may not know I had my hair very long a while back and had a trim, now I am growing it back long again, and this is now. Pretty pleased really, nothing seems to have changed from the first growing out 5 years ago, except its thinner and there are rogue grey hairs, grrrrr

Great pic of you and its nice to hear you got that longhaired urge back:)I admit it was sad to hear when you decided to trim it back a while ago but thankfully you didn't go really short.It really boils down to what type of hair we have and how manageable it is a certain lengths.As my hair got longer it tangled more which forced me to have it tied back anytime I was outdoors.I seemed to solve that problem a bit by oiling my hair as that does seem to prevent the tangling than when my hair is very dry and flyaway.The downside to oiling is my hair lays flat and is not so bushy looking.However I'd rather have that than battling tangles constantly with my drier hair.Anyway Dave you look awesome so keep up the good work my friend:)Cheers,

It's great to see an update from you, and your mane is growing very well indeed, and looks darned good too! The wild look suits you to a "T"! As for any gray hairs that show up now and then, I actually don't mind them, and consider them to be my "natural silvers"!

Thanks for your kind words David, your hair is a great colour, I don't notice the grey just the tones of brown. It would be really cool to see an update from you sometime, even if your hair hasn't changed much, I just like to see new pictures of people here instead of the same old avatars :)

That looks just so great and now you are back to the old you. One thing however, you are NOT "olde." LOL :-) "I" am a "left-over" "elder" at the moment.
As for the greys. Hmmmmmmm, I have 'em too and in fact had them 10 years ago. Funny, but they just seem to stay there and mind their own business and cannot be noticed except very close up. Funny thing however: when I had my hair at its shortest last Summer the grey COULD be noticed and my hair took on a kinda lighter brown sandy look to it. Now grown out to "longish" all is looking dark again. But of the beard? I lost. That turned all white. Everyone knows I'm crazy but I just didn't want to go around with a SNOW WHITE face and dark hair. Now, if and when my hair turns white, then the beard comes back. Take care Dave and again, your hair looks great!

Great to hear from you and thankyou for the comments. I never even noticed any grey when you had long hair, didn't know if you coloured or not. How quickly did the beard change colour? I always remember it dark, did you colour it?

Yes, I had been coloring it for a number of years as it turned lighter and lighter, but then I suddenly became allergic so that ended that. :-( I DO miss it alot.

Hair looks just like it did before. I wouldn't worry about the grey hair or too. I think grey hair looks neat, much better than balding.
Thanks a lot Garth, I've always been a big fan of your mane, and how you keep it so well while doing tough physical activities. Its the one thing I struggled with and why I had the cut, but you, Jason, Hairball and Scott (and probably many others here) all do sports or lots of gym work and manage the long hair well, so I will be taking tips and doing the same.
