This is nice Long hair boy
Since he's wearing a steel bangle, I guess that he's a Sikh and his hair will be covered with a turban once that braid is pinned into a topknot.
Beautiful hair! It would be to long for me personally but, it is beautiful!

You would be right. And as far as I know they don't ever cut their hair.
His hair is just AWESOME!What more can be said.He must have began his hair journey the day he was born.

Appreciating the tenets of the religion, it's non-the-less a shame that all that beautiful long hair is hidden under a turban when in public.
YEEEEES INDEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've always felt that way!! Of course, the turban was originally a way to protect it from the Equatorial sun, but if they'd free themselves from some of their religions' trappings, they could show off their attributes so much better. I saw some images of Sikks online that just had loose topknots and looked like a cross between a Victorian Lady and a wild tiger man!!!! With these big wild, proud smiles! haha.
It is a shame, but perhaps it IS part of their religion -- to not have people ogling their beauty?
Hi Sam,
I would certainly say the boy was a Sikh with the single bangle and the longhair of hair. This is how they normally braid it up before putting on a turban or Dastar. I have a couple of Sikh friends and you don't often see then with their hair down in public. I have seen one of my friends hair and it's about ankle length.
Cheers,

The boy is more then likely a Sikh and they have the belief in unshorn hair and grow it for spiritual reasons. I believe his hair only got to that awesome length due to being protected from wind and the general wear and tear being mostly likely tucked under a turban. Hair kept that way has a greater chance of achieving it's maximum length and doesn't get as much risk of breakage. Also Indian hair is one of the best hair types on the planet in my opinion being usually of a coarse, wavy curly texture and Asian hair generally grows fastest.
There's a great video on youtube on unshorn hair. I'll find it in a moment.

SAM, where did you come across that image?
That is what I like to call "long hair porn" :)
That's really amazing and beutiful, considering the assumption is the hair must not look great if it's in a turban, etc.
*going to google Sikhs now*
Wow, that is a fantastic length of hair. It's sort of a shame that it's probably kept wrapped in a turban.
