Hi Guys, well I can't believe it's been 2 years growing out my hair, have not had any trims since last year. Realise it would be longer if I hadn't.
Have the flu and feel really awful, also my hair always looks frizzy for a day or two after washing. The garnier "dark natural blond" semi permanent is officially permanent after all in my eyes, it's been over 7 months and it still looks very reddish in certain light. Not coloring again. At least it will grow out I will probably eventually trim it out over a period of time when it grows longer.

Hi MattT,
Great to hear from you again just to find out how you've been.Sorry that you are dealing with the flu but thankfully you will recover and be back to your old self again:)Your hair looks great but that's too bad about the coloring which is why I'd never use any in my own hair.I'm probably going to Henna my hair within the next month as I've heard nothing but good reviews about it and it won't hurt my hair. Thanks for posting your update pics my friend.Keep the faith:)Cheers
Mark
Your hair is gorgeous and incredibly thick, Matt. It appears to be in good condition too. Hair colour can cause damage to your hair, although it does not look damaged in the photo. Just be careful. You have such a nice mane and it would be sad to have to trim off a significant amount of damaged hair due to applying hair colour.Scott

Hi Matt,
I do have to agree with Scott you do have an amazing head of thick hair. I don't think the colour has damaged it and it does look a great colour. Just keep it growing and you have always been a great inspiration here.
Cheers,
John.B
Hi Matt, well two years well spent, your hait is looking great, and although I prefer your natural colour, the thickness and growth is outstanding. Well done. Ian
Looks so incredibly Pre Raphaelite!!!! ;p
Superb growth Matt, and what a difference a year makes!
Your hair is so thick, and it looks very healthy indeed despite the colouring.
Cheers Dave
Hello MattT,
It's amazing how much your hair reminds me of mine when it was that length. It's just a little less curly than mine. Your hair will be really epic when it gets longer and you are well on your way to getting there.
Take care,
Neil
Thanks guys!! I'd say with no more trims for a year or maybe even a bit less, will end up with hair I had in 2007.
Cheers,
Matt
Hi MattT,
I have always look forward to seeing your updates as your head of hair is one of the more outstanding ones on this board. Nice and thick and will be really awesome the longer it grows. Your two year anniversary is fantastic and your hair ends look very healthy. However I am not a big fan of colouring or dyeing hair and think your natural colour is better. My hair is similar to yours but more like Neil's from the UK being a bit more curly.
Duncan
Thanks for the advice, yes I think the colouring was a bit of an experiment at the time, it has faded a lot but still present.. I'm not to worried about it though
You have a wonderful head of hair, Matt. Keep up the excellent progress, and thanks for sharing the inspirational pictures!

Thanks for the kind words!!
Hi Matt,
You must have the thickest hair on the planet, and yes, I am jealous! I look forward to your future updates!
Keep it growing,
David
Thanks :)
Matt, great to see that luscious thick hair again. Looking great my friend!

Matt,
That's impressive thickness and no split ends!! It looks great! Congrats on making it to two years. :)
