Hi guys,
Here's an update taken yesterday, roughly 6 and a half months in from my final #1 buzz on new year's eve:
Things are still going fairly smoothly with my hair growth and restoration regimen, though a couple months ago I started using Rogaine Foam in place of the generic Target-brand Minoxidil. Over the last few weeks I've started going through what I guess they call the "dread shed" where I'm shedding like crazy, though it's starting to taper off. My crown has noticeably thinned a bit during this phase but from what I understand this shed is necessary to make room for the thicker, better hairs to grow in place of the old ones. Since I never really went through any kind of shed up until this I'm assuming the Rogaine Foam kicked things into high gear and hit my follicles in a way the generic liquid minoxidil didn't.
Hopefully the shed will stop soon and my crown will thicken back up!
Well, you've made some good progress from your buzz cut, and it's good that your "restoration plan" is working for you. At this rate, you should have some fair length by the next six months. Good luck, Ian
Good work Paladin, looks like you will have thick long hair with maybe a wave or two.
Good luck!!
Dave
You're making great progress, man. Have fun with it every step of the way, and keep your eyes on the prize!

Paladin,
That's good progress from a buzz cut, and the dark color is nice! Keep at it, it will just get better from here! :)
Thanks for your thoughts. I can't wait to see how it looks in a few more months!
