... Interview With The Vampire. Seriously guys, VERY inspiring. Wherever you look, there are longhairs. Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas and Tom Cruise's manes are fabulous. It portrays a lovely age, centuries XVIII and XIX, when men where encouraged to grow their hair long. If the thought of cutting your hair comes through your head, watch it. You have straight hair? Aim for Pitt's hair. Curly? Cruise's hair. For me, it always works.
Also, my birthday is less than a month for now, and a B-day update is coming as well! My hair is a lot better that it was, and I owe a lot to the MLHH for it. You guys rock, seriously.

Agreed, it is a great movie for men's hair. Legends of the Fall (also starring Pitt) and of course, The Last of the Mohicans with Daniel Day-Lewis are fantastic as well.
Also agree===Interview with the Vampire is an awesome movie and Brad Pitt was one of my muses when I wanted to grow long hair, in fact i think him and Tom Cruise have one of the best manes in Hollywood,,, great flick and I would have loved to have lived in that era...
Based on the book by Anne Rice it is an excellent Vampire
movie that also just happens to have some great looking
long haired men.
I've read the book as well! It's a lovely one. Right now I'm reading Memnoch The Devil, one of the Vampire Chronicles by Rice.
Brad Pitt does have great looking hair, but he does not look to good with a goate, and the scruffy look is not good on him as he a very handsome man doesn't need a beard or goate to cover up his face.
Tom(Hairboy)
Pitt said he was "bored" with his look so he grew the goatee. I think he looks much better w/o it also, but I am in favor of letting the individual person choose his or her own look. I liked that he gave it a go ~ because he is in the spotlight, and since he tried it out, that may have encouraged other men to try out something that they had only been thinking about.
That movie is great, and all of the long haired men look fabulous!!! I also like the other movies in that series.
All of Anne Rice's older books are fantastic. If you like her style of writing, she wrote more books under the name Anne Rampling (but be warned: some of these books have much more sexually graphic content than the Vampire Chronicles). Last I heard (a few years ago), she had dedicated her writing to religious content only; perhaps historically acurate, but still ficticious.
Happy early Birthday, Andy!! :)
Thanks a lot, Laura! Been looking forward to it, it's my first birthday with a long, ponytailable(what lol) hair.
And for the books, thanks for the heads-up. I will surely give them a try after I finish Memnoch The Devil. Rice is a naughty one sometimes! Not a problem for me though, Sidney Sheldon's books have some sex content, but are fabulous as well, If Tomorrow Comes is a masterpiece, in my opinion.

It's not a movie, but I think the TV show The Mighty Boosh has some pretty great hair on Vince Noir, I also really like Jareth's hair in the Labyrinth
