Well, I took some decent pictures yesterday and I thought I'd post 'em up here. I'm at 25.5 months and man it's wavy. When I've had my hair long in the past it was almost straight with some slight curling at the ends. It was also not as dry as it is this time around.
My regimen for care changes as I experiment, so for now I wash once a week with Dr. Bronner's Castile soap and rinse with an all natural conditioner I bought at Trader Joe's. Then I oil daily with pure coconut oil to alleviate dryness. If needed, I rinse with water in between.
I read here as often as I can and it's a great board for encouragement. Thanks to everyone here!

Your mane looks gorgeous, Dan. I see curls at the ends but it looks straight at the top. Hair can change from straight to curly or curly to straight over time as we age.

Here's two more pix - first a ponytail - this is how I wear it to work and when I'm out and about...
From the front - with the sides so curly it never looks that long to me - it's a little shock when I look at the back!

Looks excellent mate! The oiling you give your hair seems to benefit it greatly. I've cosidered usng some form of oil in my hair, but it seems like a bit of a hassle.
