As a man with long hair I see policies like this as incredibly sexist, and the male is the one who is the victim of such sexism. America seems to be all up in arms about stomping out sexism wherever its found, but only if its against women. The sexism against men goes unnoticed, like everyone figures we have tough skin and can deal with it or shrug it off. But were people too, and most of you have no idea how sensitive we are about our hair. If I were to lose my mane and get it replaced with a crew cut Id be devastated. Virtually all long haired men do it because it makes them feel more natural. A man with no hair is like a tree with no leaves.

I do have friends my age who are profoundly bald, however -- in which case, I can totally empathize that genetics and/or their medical history have dealt them an unfair hand of cards... I'm always a bit perplexed, though, whenever I see a guy with a full head of hair prefer to shave their head!

Me too, but then maybe that is why Principal Lamb of Wills Point High school in Texas is so anti-hair-he's BALD! maybe he's jealous of the young guys who have a full head of hair.
