new thread
hi all
been growing my hair out from shaved for 10 weeks now......(3 month update coming in 2 weeks), and while i was driving to dinner yesterday i could feel some movement behind my neck, i stopped the car because i though it was some crazed insect of some sort, only to realise my hair at the back was brushing against my shirt collar!......this is the first time ever i have had this feeling!...although my hair is still "short" it is longer than i have had it in years already!
Sounds dumb...but wanted to share this with you guys, as it's down to you that has given me the strength to continue with my great hair adventure.

I totally know where you're coming from. It's a great feeling!
I started growing my hair from short about 20 months ago. I had resigned myself to remaining short-haired forever because my forehead is receding but thought I'd give it a go anyway. Whoa! Am I glad I did! It has grown longer and lusher than I ever imagined possible and no one would ever guess my hairline was receding now.
I was really looking forward to the LOOK of long hair but the excitement started when I could FEEL long hair. My hair is now past shoulder length. I went for a nighttime walk along the sea wall near where I live last night and the feeling of my hair blowing around my face is an incredible sensation.
It truly is a "wonderful thing"!

thanks for that story..makes me even more determined to carry on, my new girlfriend loves to stroke my hair, its little things like that which are different, and cant wait for that feeling of hair moving all over my head!
