Guys I promise to post just one pic! I did the henna over the weekend and it now has been 3 days-I took a pic with window lighting so you can see how different the color looks with different lightning conditions- I also trimmed about an inch off using Feye's self trimming--What an awesome site, I think it came out awesome and I did it myself...
Dee the Henna man:)Yea!Your wild hennaed hair looks outstanding and I have to thank you for inspiring me to finally take that plunge a couple weeks ago. What a great addition to my own haircare, that I can honestly say, will be a permanent part of my routine.I feel I've found my goal;)Great updates dee and don't be shy about the number of pics you post!Cheers
Mark
Thanks Mark, and you're welcome after all, that's why we are here to share tips on how to keep are manes looking their best...I'm probably going to do a full henna application by the end of the week-the ends need some extra conditioning and I am seeing many more greys in the length part of my mane lol...I just like how full the henna leaves my hair too.
Hi again dee:)
I call 'em as I see 'em!LOL.I also commented to your post on the other hair board so look for it once it clears the bosses review:)Henna does an outstanding job with the greys as, in a couple days, my beard get a redo. It's now a mix of henna red and gray since growing out from the original treatment. My hair will get redone near the end of September just before I head to California for vacation.I thank you for giving me the courage to finally use Henna:)Cheers to you my friend.

Your hair looks great, and it appears to be about my length. I'm thinking of taking the henna plunge, as long as my wife is here to oversee operations. :)
Soulspin -Give it a try-Checkout Mehandi.com-Customer suppot is awesome, they really help you out to figure out what you need...I think people are afraid of henna but it's really not such a menace...I deliberated on it for awhile as well before I took the plunge. But, once I did four years ago, I never looked back...
Looks rockin', I have to admit, with your dark hair and the red tint it gives, it suits you perfectly. I have a lighter brown, and don't think a rich red would suit me well. Keep up the growin' it is looking great.
Ziggy
Ziggy, you look younger in your latest updated profile picture. :) I always thought you have hair that resembles Jim Morrison's, which is awesome (both his and yours). :)
;p why thank you laura, I had shaved my facial hair which makes me look a great deal younger. I am 27 and with facial hair I look early 30s, which I don't mind, but went for a change. I'll put a couple of new pics up soon, seeing as that pic was taken about6 months ago, and I have had a lot of growth since then.
Ziggy
Ziggy thanks for the compliment! Your hair is coming along splendidly!
Your hair really does look a lot different color in different light! :) You are so lucky to have the natural big curls/waves, I wish I had them - I will trade you my straight hair for your wavy hair!! :) :) The hair gods have certainly smiled on you, Dee!
Laura, if you want to trade curly hair on your lovely straight hair, I'm open to offers, ok? LOL. Your hair is stunning, my little brother has a head of hair that resemble yours, only it's brown.
I guess we always want what we don't have! :) Yes, I'll trade! :)
Laura I agree with Andy, your straight hair is beautiful! I always loved that straight long hair like Cher used to have and that's what you have.
Laura thank you for such a compliment!! My hair used to be straight and I never used to have such big waves before so I guess it does change over time...What's funny is that my Mom has the same hair texture and we kid around that we used to have straight hair...It's a conundrum lol.
Awesome, simple as that. As I love curls to death and happen to have them as well, I have to say your hair amazed me. The sahpe of the curls, the length, the color... it suits you perfectly! Keep up the good work, man!
Big hug.
Thanks Andy! Your hair is amazing as well! I understand that shoulder flip transition-I hated that part of the growing process-I felt like I looked like Peggy Bundy...But thankfully, I passed that stage and I am happy with how it's getting a personality of it's own--What's really weird is that when I grew my hair once before, it hair was really straight. Now, when I started growing it long again it is completely different, I never used to have any curls before maybe a bit wavy...I guess our hair does change over time---When I had it long before I was in my late 20's and 30's and now I'm in my 40's. Keep the growing process going-your hair is looking fantastic!!

The results look great, Dee. I have heard only good things about henna. What is keeping me from trying it is the real chore it would be to apply it on my hair which is well over 3 feet long. Great update.
