As one person here suggested, post a photo every month of my progress, so here we go - a little over a month after my first post. This is what my hair looks like at the end of the day, a bit messy and really curly :o ...
Now one inch from a almost lowish ponytail (one small strand in the very front straggling behind) and boy that one inch is bugging the heck out of me because I really wish I could do one soon >< ! My coworkers at school are beginning to get on my nerves :/ .....
Oh well, one inch isn't all of that bad, though :) . Keep on growing and growing on down hopefully onto success ^_^ ! Until next time ^^ ~
Sincerely,
yoshiki
Hi Eric,
You have very nice hair even if it is a bit messy.lol. Of course that's your opinion as I think it looks fine:)Do be patient as in time you will be able to tie a great ponytail and then your coworkers will be soooo jealous;)Thanks for your update.Cheers my friend.
Mark
Hi Mark,
Heh, thank you, I hope my coworkers will be jealous ^_^ ! Just today during the morning announcements over the P.A., someone in a higher position announced that picture day is next week - and that he just got his haircut so he's ready for his picture. Hmmm, I wondered, what did he mean by that :p ?
It may have been a coincidence, but chuckled to myself a little bit ^_~ . No haircuts here as long as I hope I have my say :D !
Sincerely,
yoshiki
HA HA, Picture day??????I never heard of that one but just for fun be sure to have your hair loose for that day;)I can see the jealousy meter go into the red zone:)LOL.If you can and desire it would be cool to see your picture day picture:)Cheers Eric
Mark
Mark, he's in school. They take pictures 1 or 2 times during the school year, for the yearbook and/or to sell to the students/famlies. :)
Yeah, that's right Laura, the pictures are for the yearbook... of course we get a free copy, but every year I always wonder what I will do with it :p ...
I'm seriously considering if I should skip picture day tomorrow and wait for the make-up day for pictures - because the same person who made the comment over the P.A. will be at the front of the line in the cafeteria tomorrow directing traffic and I'd hate for my hair to become an issue... it hasn't yet :/ . Maybe wait when it gets a little longer for when the make-up picture day is? I don't know ~_~ - I'm not a salary employee like the teachers are :p heh - anything goes~
I bought some "Garnier Fructis Anti-Frizz Serum" like Ben suggested today, so maybe that might sway my decision tomorrow if it works well. *Sigh* The problem is is that a job is such a good thing to have now-a-days, if you know what I mean, especially when you have a family to support :( ...
I hate these cultural norms that seem like they are always frowned upon when they aren't followed to the letter. Well, at least my little spot in the middle of the conservative Great Plains is more like the Austin, Texas of the south :D . I shouldn't have too much to complain about, then ^_~ .....
Sincerely,
yoshiki
Oooops, guess I should have known that but it's been a long time since I've been to school!lol.I bet if I were to "Go Back To The Future" so to speak and show up at school like I appear now they'd all fall on the floor in shock:)He He

Your mane does look good, Yoshiki. You are so close to reaching ponytail length. Just hold on a little bit longer, the goal is in sight.
Scott
Thank you, Scott ^_^ ! I'll just keep on holding my breath and crossing my fingers ;) !
Sincerely,
yoshiki
Yoshiki,
I know that the awkward stage is difficult, but youll be able to wear your hair in a ponytail soon enough, and youll be glad that you had the patience to make it through longish hair. Hope that all is well at home, work, and with yourself. Good luck, mate!

Venya
Thanks for the kind wishes, Venya ^_^ ! Haven't seen you around here as of late. Hope all is well for you :) . Also, hope school is going well for you, too - hopefully they've gone a little easier on you about your hair ^_~ ...
Whatever the case, keep up the spirit and never let down :D ! Until next time ;) ~
Sincerely,
yoshiki
Hi Eric, great progress and such potential. Keep up the good work. Ian
Hi Ian,
Thanks much, sure will :) ! You're such great inspiration to go off of ^_^ !
Sincerely,
Eric
You have great hair, guy. "Messy," I guess, is how you are feeling, but that body and curl is a blessing. Maybe you should experiment a tad and forget about your comb/brush? After shampooing, dry some Garnier Fructis Anti-Frizz Serum. Just put a few pumps of it in your palm, rub hands together, then finger comb it through your hair. Start in the back where it's long, then work it forward to the sides and front. Let it air-dry. With your hair texture, it will look pretty awesome, honest.
Hey Ben,
When my Great Great Uncle was a kid, he always wanted curly hair, so he'd eat just the crust off of his bread (or something like that). People would ask him why he would do this, and he would say "Because the crust will give me curly hair one day!"
Well, eventually it did :p . I was always the opposite, but I got it anyways. It doesn't bother me as much anymore...
Thanks for the suggestion on the Garnier Fructis Anti-Frizz Serum :) . I think I'll go out this weekend to Sally's and see if I can pick myself up a bottle :D !
Sincerely,
yoshiki
Yoshiki,
Your hair is gorgeous!!! Just hang on for a couple more months -- the average hair growth is 1/2 inch per month -- and you'll be able to tail it. Thanks for sharing the photo of your awesome hair!! :)
Thank you, Laura, I'll be really looking forward to the day :D heh!.....
Sincerely,
yoshiki
Looking great Yoshiki, nice and thick, your hair will be great when it gets really long.
cheers Dave
Thanks, Dave :) . This has been my dream ever since the age of 14 or so. One can never be too old to finally catch up on what they've wanted to do for half of their live ^_~ heh.....
Sincerely,
yoshiki
