We just moved and can't find my camera just yet. But will post pics when I find it.. My question is It's been about 10 months since my last cut, the back is to my shoulders and side's are almost to my jaw. But the front seems to be a lot thinner and simply does not lay down at all it's about the same length as the sides but doesn't lay somewhat flat like the sides and back. I mean none of it lays down totally yet still in the awkward stage but the back and sides lays down and looks thicker than the front by a long shot.. Any advice.
Without seeing it I would just guess that it's due to the hair on top starting on a horizontal surface and having to grow longer before it hangs down naturally without sticking out. The hair in the back and sides grows off a vertical angle and would hang down sooner.
Photographs are needed as you surmise.
It's hard to tell without a picture. Assuming you have no hair recession, those hairs right at the hairline in the front are typically thinner than the others and have a much shorter terminal length. If those are the hairs you are talking about, you may want to just use a product (minimal chemicals, of course) to keep it tame. Take care.
