I have a question. When you first started using Minoxidil, did your hair fall out where you applied it? Also, do you see any difference between Rogaine and the generic Wal-Mart brands?

No, I did not see any increased hair fall out. Likely, you are looking for a difference, and note this. It's not the hair that you see, it's the amount that grows back after it falls out.
Try 5% minoxidil, it's better than the 2%. The generic and brand name stuff should be the same. I wouldn't worry about the difference.
