Hello guys =)
It's been a long time since I had posted in this forum.
Still, this is where I started, and this is where I had my first suporters and where I vented about the first arguments I have about my hair in real life. I owe to this place a lot.
So I wanted to share with everyone here that I have recently reached 7 years of growing my hair long, and finally reached my goal of Classic Lenght.
I am very happy =)
I am going to mantain this lenght to thicken up my ends. I'm in love with my hair finally and I hope to improove its condition in the following year, by trimming and taking good care of it =)
I also want to leave a special thanks to Absalom, Justin, Jason, David N, Hairball, JohnB, TexasCowboy, and all the members who were here a few years ago when I was a regular on the forum and suported me so much on my journey.
I have come to the finish line and I'm so thrilled =) Thank you ^^

I am thrilled to hear that you have attained your ultimate hair goal after many years of documented hair growth! Your hair looks wonderful indeed and the ends in the photograph look much fuller and thicker looking then they did in your last fabulous update.
Also a BIG THANK YOU to you Joao for your wonderful website Little Bird Long Hair which has helped many newbies including myself to NOT GIVE UP and is no doubt giving great and wonderful inspiration for others on their hair journeys.

I am so glad I could inspire other people and help them hang on to their goals. Incidentally, I don't feel peer preassure anymore and I have full confidence in my hair and myself... That is so important for people with long hair... the preassure is always there!

I want to wish you a hearty congratulations for achieving your long sought after goal! It must be a tremendous feeling of accomplishment. It has been fun to vicariously grow along with you too on this long journey and to be able to feel and share your excitement that each stage brought. You are truly an ambassador for long hair on men (and women)!
I don't know if I'll ever reach classic length. I probably won't but I'm okay with that. I'm kind of in a similar stage as you are now in that I'm focusing on improving the health of the length I have. This means regular coconut oilings and fairly frequent trims. It's been about three months since my last one and I hope to have my wife trim some today.

Hey, great to see you drop in again as you know the welcome mat is always out for you my friend:)You are a true inspiration to all newbie longhairs as well as us lifer longhairs.Your length looks fantastic and that's cool that you will be working on improving the condition of your hair as well as the thickness.I wish I could reach classic length but it just doesn't look like that will happen.Still I'm satisfied with the length I do have.I'm currently doing henna treatments to better condition my hair as well as alter the color.I'm very happy with how its been going so far.Anyway you made my day with your update:)Hope to see you around again.Cheers

Congratulations at achieving your goal of growing such beautiful classic length long hair. It is very impressive, and absolutely gorgeous. Your ends don't look all that thin in the photo, so I hope you don't go overboard with the trimming. I'm also hoping that once the ends are thickened up to your satisfaction, that you will rethink your goal and grow it even longer. But even if you do maintain it at that length, it is something you should be immensely proud of. It must be so wonderful to have such beautiful long hair. I, and I'm sure I speak for many others, when I say that I am very envious of you. Thank you so much for posting your photo. I hope it is an inspiration for other guys to grow their hair long.

I am just so absolutely thrilled for you! If I was a bird I would chirp until I fell off the perch, but lol, I am still me so a great big APPLAUSE and so happy for you that you have arrived to such a fantastic length. This is truly a "major" A++++++++ success story for the MLHH and its entire history.
Time goes by so fast and hard for me to believe it was 7 years ago. I can well remember when you started your journey, and then all of the inspiration and advice you were able to help other guys with for so long. You gave of yourself in such an unselfish way of your time and helped so many to continue on.

Your hair looks fantastic, Joao. It is great to see that you have reached your goal of classic length. Your hair will most likely thicken up at the ends if you plan on small trims to maintain it at classic length. You are a MLHH success story.
