Quite a bit has been said about songs that have references to long hair lately. Well, my wife and I are going to the Broadway summer tour of "HAIR" the rock musical in a few days. Have always wanted to see the stage play since it first came out in the late 1960s. Sure am looking forward to it.

Even though I started growing my hair in the 60s and enjoyed all the music from Hair i've never seen Hair on or off Broadway.
Never saw the movie either.
The tour cast is made up of the best from the recent revival that played NYC, and also the London cast. Supposed to be great.
I only saw the film in France, in French (I am originally from England). The funny thing was in the version dubbed into French the characters kept calling eachother "mon vieux" instead of "man", but the former really translates into English more like "old chap". Made me feel as if I was watching Bertie Wooster and Jeeves. I think it was still called Hair, not Cheveux as it would be en francais.
One of the cast is in the Long Hair Community under the user name of Eric the Great. Don't think he has a major role, but he has amazing hair!
Sounds like fun Steve! I have yet to see the Broadway musical myself.
Somewhere in storage, I have a 1969 LP soundtrack of the original London cast.
