just wondering. since metalheads are mostly long-hairs, are long-hairs mostly metalheads?
personally I'm into everything metal, from heavy metal to death/black metal.
I'm in to metal I like basically all rock/metal and I like bands like Type O Negative to Korn.
I'm big into metal, I listen to mostly progressivish metal like Opeth and stuff like that. I also like doom, blackmetal, deathmetal, powermetal, thrashmetal, etc. etc. I also like a lot of 70's rock, 70's prog, and i'm starting to like jazz and such also, I like music basically
i did not know type o negative and korn were metal. they just don't sound metallic to me. i really like sonata arctica, nightwish, and other power metal.
You're right. Nu metal ISNT metal. So to all those who listen to nu-metal and think they're metal heads they are very wrong!! Rhapsody and Nightwish are my fav powermetal bands.
I'm a metalhead!!!!!!! That's all I listen to. I'm a bigger fan of bands like Guns N Roses, AC/DC, Metallica, etc. than I am of some of the newer metal like Korn, Drowing Pool, Slipknot. But I can still listen to them as well.
I am somewhat of a metalhead. Depends on the band, though. I like a lot of black metal, some death metal, and some heavy metal. It's all good.

Been into metal sice the term was invented, got into it in the 80's, still like 80's metal, but like most new stuff to. Into the metal look in dress and hairstyle(obviously).
The term was coined from "Born to be Wild" with the phrase "heavy metal thunder."
I'm into some metal. I love Sepultura and Pantera and some others such as Slayer and older stuff like Sabbath. I'm mainly into rock though, but some Metal is cool to me.
I listen to mainly black/death metal. My fav bands include Dimmu Borgir, Immortal, Emperor, Cradle Of Filth and Opeth.
Metal is not a fashion statement, it's a way of life...
I like metal, though it's not all I like, I simply like good music. Any music that can send that shiver down my spine is good for me, whether it's Mozart, Metallica or Moby it doesn't matter to me what it is labelled as but what it does to me emotionally.
not really a metalhead here (just flesh-blood-bone & of course hair composite lol) but i cut my musical teeth on zeppelin, cream, clapton, hendrix, etc... these days i listen to zappa, zeppelin, king crimson, bosstones, a little bit of 'alternative' (or shall i say new mainstream?), old jazz, blues & whatever i can get ahold of on the wwweb. just burned a covers compilation of old bootlegs.
I wouldn't class myself as a metalhead, I like mostly grunge bands like Nirvana, Kyuss, Pearl Jam, etc. BUT I love Rammstein and Fear Factory, which I would class as metal!
