Hi everyone I was wondering if any of you knew what kind of a bun this was I have seen a lot o people wearing this kind of a style.
I'm not sure what it's called, but I can't wait till my hair is long enough to pull it off.
I don't know what its called - or if it even has a "name" - but to me, both those pictures just looked like your standard ponytail that has been turned back on itself.
I see a lot of girls, but not many guys doing this. It's easy enough to do if you have extra inces of ponytail. I think it looks ok, and practical for work and out of doors etc.
Here is my attempt a a bun, although I think it would draw more comment than the usual ponytail in public...at least where I come from!

I wear it in a bun quite often, and can relate to certain reactions in certain geographical locations. :) That actually makes me like to do it more!

I wear my hair in a bun about 95% of the time---I like it much more than a ponytail---To me it looks more modern---I never feel weird about wearing my hair in a bun, it also helps keep my hair healthy...
Indeed, that looks quite similar to the way I wear mine at work, folding my ponytail until it's only about 2.5 to 3 inches long. Since my very fine hair doesn't have a lot of volume, folding works very well for me.
