I've been using Aussie Mango smoothy shampoo and slip detangler for quite some time now and it works good... well i guess, i haven't really tried many others so it's hard to tell if it's working good. So today I have to go shopping and I'm thinking of trying out a different combo. I have pretty big, very wavy, not too dry/not too oily hair that doesn't bounce around or have much "life", like if I go out in the wind it just gets all screwed up and doesn't fall back down. I'm thinking of trying either Aussie Mega shampoo & cond. combo or Aussie Real Volume shampoo & cond. combo, which sounds better for my type of hair?
I dont know exacly what type you should use, as I am not an expert but what I do know is anything with ammonium/sodium laurel/laureth sulfate is damaging to the hair and thus should be avoided. If you have big and wavy hair, you definitely do not need any more volume. I have very wavy hair too and I just use a very mild shampoo (baby shampoo works ok, and some herbal shampoos) then CONDITION. The most important part. It puts back everything the shampoo takes out (what a way for them to make more money, eh?) You might not notice much difference at first if it is already damaged, as damage is perminant. But just dont give in and cut it and pretty soon it will get long & weigh itself down.
