I know the rule about drying long hair is to wrap it in a towel and let it sit.
But just for $h!t$ n giggles, I washed my hair as usual this morning, but instead of blotting and wrapping, I just scrubbed it dry with the towel. I've haven't done this in months and wow! felt great!
Bottom line question,,, after scrubbing it dry with the towel, my hair was laying flatter and didn't seem so out of control. Why is this?
Is this a rule? I've never heard it before.
I just dry my hair at all, I just let it air dry on it's own..
Dries pretty fast.
I have heard of it, but it's not a rule. Its just how a lot of TV shows and movies (north american) like to show their long haired characters drying their hair.
Personally, I don't even let towels touch my hair anymore, just air dry. My hair doesn't reach very far down my back yet so its not that hard & doesn't take very long.
It could be because of the fabric softener in the towel rubbing off on your hair.
