hi guys, I have a job interview next tuesday. Im not sure how I should wear my hair, its way to short for a ponytail, should I slick it back with gel or wear a very high bun which i can bearly pull off? its for chuck e cheeses so they wont require me to look professional but I dont wanna go in and look like the stereotypical pothead
I'd say don't do anything unusual like a bun; if it's not long enough for a 'tail, then gel it back.

I agree with sectari. I'm far from being an expert on job interviews, but I'd say just slick it back until you can make a ponytail out of it. Once it's long enough I think a really low ponytail is the best choice for tying hair back on a man, but that's just me. Some guys can pull off the bun look really well, but usually only when their hair is waist-length or so.

I had to do a double take but chuck e cheeses and looking professional?That seems like the last place that would be an issue.From what you describe as your current hair length I wouldn't even worry about it unless the professional look for chuckie is a buzz cut!LOL.Sorry if I'm sounding sarcastic but I've seen bankers in my travels sporting longhair and have to say it looks cool with the suit and tie:)Good luck my friend.Cheers

yea thats what I said, I DONT have to look professional but I dont wanna look like a lazy person which the usually associate with long hair... and yes agreed, I also like how long hair looks with a suit and tie like the mafia in movies.
Just another one of those old wives tales that longhair makes a guy lazy.Hmmm, must work opposite with the gals ...right?????LOL
I'd probably gel it back or use leave in conditioner and style it nicely. Just dress semi-nicely and you will be fine. It's all about presentation in these interviews. They won't think you look like a pothead if you come in dressed nicely. Just don't overdo it, it is a Chuckee Cheeses after all :P

thanks, i tried out some styles and im just gonna go with the slick hair....haha i know thats why im not to worried but i dont wanna look like a lazy person who cant even style their hair for work
I Have no idea what Chuck e Cheeses is, so I guess just go as you are :)
