Hi all,
My hair is starting to reach mid back and it's a pretty cool feeling when I see the backside of my head...the journey has been long but well worth the time and patience it takes to decide to grow your hair long...To all you newbies out there, my advice is to just be patient and the rest will come...Here is a pic of the backside...It's a little frizzy because I did not condition it today because I'm about to do a henna treatment...Forgive the dusty mirror, forgot to wipe it down before taking the picture...
PS- I brushed straight for the pic-it's normally wavier..
You lucky dog, look at that hair. I can't wait till it gets as long as yours, looking hot ;p.

Your mane looks outstanding Dee and to think a few months ago you were questioning your hair.You are a natural for longhair so wear it with confidence my friend:)Good luck with the henna as I know the drill.LOL.It's been five weeks since I redid mine and can now see the new growth in my center part.I'm going to wait it out longer this time as I'll probably just do a touch up next.Still I'm loving the henna redo and don't regret it at all:)Drop a line sometime Dee, OK?Cheers

Congrats to you Dee, your hair's coming along great and you know your looking solidly a longhair once it's gotten to the mid-back length. At this stage you should be able to just be able to comb the ends of the hair from behind if you tip your neck back a bit.

I really do feel like a longhair now--I'm pretty excited when I look in the mirror and see how long it's gotten...You are so correct in your comment, I do comb my hair from the back and I'm a bit amazed when i feel the end of my hair from the back without tilting my head too much...It makes me feel so unique and cool when I look at myself...The last month really gave me a huge jump start in length...I guess the Biotin, Saw Palmetto, henna, and MSM is really working it's magic...Thanks again!!

I too use MSM, Biotin and more recently Liquid Silica all of which I believe has made a notable difference in hair growth.
