Here is the hair wrap that a girl at work did for me. I love it, I had to do the end part because she ran out of string, so while at home, drunk might I add, I finished up. I added the little heart at the end from a thing my aunt had, she passed away earlier this year, she collected a crap-load of dingle-dangles, so I felt this was something I could have of her right on me. I have a tattoo for my dad and this was my way of commemorating him as a person. I felt a little thing on the end of my hair was a similar notion. The hair will start to dread at the base but I don't mind, I kind of like the notion, hair is such an interesting part of the human body.

Ziggy, sorry to hear of your loss; I hope your relationship with your aunt was a good one. If you felt compelled to add the decorative heart to your hair wrap, perhaps it was your aunt's spirit trying to let you know that she is still with you. <3 I actually have the same plastic heart, only pink, hanging from the rear view mirror of my car - in memory of a daughter of a friend of mine.
I think the hair wrap is cool, and am glad that you are enjoying doing different things with your hair. There's no point in growing it if you're not enjoying it!! :)
