Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I am eight months into growing my hair back out (from ¼) after cutting my shoulder length hair seven years ago in a moment of weakness; something I have regretted ever since. I have observed this go-around the infamous awkward stage doesnt seem, well, quite so awkward this time. Last time I obsessed over my hair and was concerned with how it looked, and this time I am enjoying the differentness of it. I have very much enjoyed the friendliness and helpfulness of the board in my lurking. Looking forward to a long journey in this endeavor..

Hi Jeremy. Hair is looking good, healthy and a great colour. It will look better and better as it grows longer and I am sure will suit you very well. Welcome back to longhair! Ian
Thank you Sir, looking forward to much growing
Welcome to the board! I think you learned the hard way why we advocate the 2 week rule. If you think you want to cut your hair short you must want to for every day of two weeks. If at any time you change your mind then the timer starts over. Hopefully this keeps one from giving into an impulsive moment. :-)
As for the awkward stage, knowing what to expect helps a lot! Already knowing the little tricks to keep it under control and knowing what the end result will be surely makes it a lot more bearable. :-)
Good Luck!

You are correct and sadly once done you can't reattach it. Live and learn as the say..
Greetings, Jeremy. You have straight hair which should be easy to grow super long. It is a long journey to waist length, but you have the best hair type to grow that long.
Scott
Very good, I'm ready for the long journey..
Regards,
Jeremy
Your hair looks beautiful,I'm sure it is going to look great long and dark.
