You may have guessed but yesterday I did another henna treatment but this time it was only a partial one.No need to do the length as it was fine but the new growth was getting noticeable after a month and a half since the last full treatment. So here is a pic of me today sort of sporting the nuttidave look:)Cheers
Mark
You're looking good, Mark! One of these days I may have to try henna myself if I can figure out how to mix a shade I can live with as I'm not a red head. ;-)

Hi Dale,
Thank you for the thumbs up on my henna tuneup!LOL.Honestly your hair looks awesome just the way it is Dale, so maybe you may want to hold off on henna unless you really want to change the color.I agree red hair isn't for everyone;)Cheers my friend.
Mark
A great look, Seems quite natural to you as it works well with your skin tone. I am somewhat shy about applying even a natural element such as henna to my hair as I have enough natural red in my hair (before the silver showed up it was a nice auburn) Afraid it might go too Lucy Ricardo orange on me. Being 60 with long fire engine red hair, Wouldn't that look good driving my purple '69 Cadillac Covertible.
Wow, look at that land yacht!LOL.I love it:)I remember when those were the "king of the road" in the day.Ha Ha.Now it those BMW's, Benzes and such.
Thanks for you comments on my henna update.Do beware that henna does make silvers/grays kinda orange. It does settle down after a few day but right after the treatment its very noticeable.Perfect for Halloween though:)Thanks again for you reply and the pic of your cool Caddy.Cheers my friend.
Mark
Hi Mark,
This is awesome how well this henna treatment works for you, and hurray for new hair growth as well!
Although you may have missed my reply to your "Goth Halloween thread" (mostly my fault anyway, since I was terribly late to reply to it, just too much time getting "late season golf" in, and the thread had already scrolled down the page), I just wanted to repeat my comment that I already made in that thread as to how great your new avatar is! It really shows off your hair, and it's new colour, very well indeed.
Take care, and I hope you are enjoying this delightful late fall weather.
David
Hi David,
I did see your reply about my Halloween post so it didn't go unnoticed.lol.Kind of forgot to reply so sorry about that but thanks for bringing it up again in this post.
Still liking the henna with no regrets even though if there were nothing much to do about it now.Cheers my good friend:)
Mark
Hi Mark, I'm really used to it now and it suits you very much. Ian
Thanks Ian as I think by now the longhaired world knows of my hennaed red hair:)LOL.Cheers
Mark
NuttyMark, your beard color is looking good with your hair color. You look like a natural red head - a hard look for most people to pull off. Glad you are still enjoying the change! :)
Thanks Laura as I love my red head:)Thankfully at this stage of my life I don't care what the world thinks so the skies the limit:)LOL.Cheers.

Your hair looks gorgeous, Mark. What is scaring me away from doing henna is the amount of work involved to do the first application. It takes several hours.
How well are the ends of your hair now that henna has been on them for several months? Are they smooth to the touch?
Scott
Hi Scott,
Well it is time consuming but your lucky to have more time than most to do it.I have to wait till weekends before I can do my hair again. Not enough time evenings after work.
I feel the texture of my hair is nice and the ends in great condition. If you don't want to color your hair you could just do a Cassia treatment which applies the same as Henna.Let me know if you decide to do it Scott:)
Mark
Your hair looks amazing. Period.
Hi emont,
Thank you for the vote of confidence as I will take that to the bank!LOL.Haven't seen you here before so welcomne to the board.Cheers
Mark
Hairball-
It's looking awesome! The red really suits you! I have a henna treatment wrap as I write this---I went and did the whole head of hair---Once you get the routine down, it's not so bad...I know it will be much more of a pain to do as my hair gets longer...Take care man!
Dee.
Hi dee,
Thanks for your comments and I agree that once you've done the treatment a few times it isn't that big a deal anymore.Sure it takes a bit of time but the procedure is rather smooth and effortless. This last treatment was only partial which is the first time I did one like that.I'll have to see how long I need to wait before a full treatment is necessary. After all the length already has the color so I wouldn't think it needs to be done over very often.Take care my friend:)
Mark
Heyyy, Mark that is cool, that shaggy look suits you to a 't' my friend. The henna seems to be settling in really well. Good on you :)
Cheers buddy
