Hi I'm new, so i'm going to start off saying I've been growing out my hair and it's up to my ears now. I'm not that kind of guy that hates curly hair, in fact I like it and it has some waves to it. The only problem I have is that I'm looking for a product that brings out my curls/waves with a natural look. I want it look like this
It would be awesome if it looked like Marc Bolans' hair.

Yeah, Bolan had awesome hair but I prefered it this length!

Hey Mate,
Having wavy hair myself, I thought I'd offer my first advice; you're most likely going to find that your hair is curliest after showering/swimming. If you want to excentuate your curls, wait till it's dry and just throw some hairspray in it (as you grow your hair, be prepared to buy 'female' hair products, as that's the target market, it's not a big deal, really).
If you have problems with tangles (like me) then at the most you might want to run your fingers through it, or a tetangling comb if you have one. But don't get carried away and DON'T brush it, as you'll lose the curls.
If your hair can handle it then you could brush it when it's wet, for me I find this better than taming damp hair, but it won't suit if you have brittle hair.
If this advice isn't useful right now then bear it in mind as time goes by; you'll see an array of different possible styles as your hair grows out and I'd personally recommend letting it grow out for about 2 years in order to get to know your hair growth (and really qualify as a longhair). Then you can keep growing it, or go back to a length/style you liked :)
Hope this helped,
Logan
