Hey Victor ! When will you be posting new pics ?? Soon I hope !! Love this site !!
Can anyone tell me what bangs are? I am from the UK and have not come across this turm before.
This is a cool site, it is good to hear about men enjoying long hair.
Why should women have all the fun. As for me i have very short hair, it is a requirment for my job(Mobile-phone engineer) I would love to have long hair very much.
It's the hair that hangs down over your forehead. Usually
the term is used where someone has long hair but they've
cut the hair over the forehead much shorter so they can
comb it straight down and it not get in front of the eyes.
Do they call them something else in the UK?

There was an extensive conversation about this term on alt.english.usage some time back. You may wish to consult http://www.dejanews.com for more detail. The term comes from the word "bangtail", referring to a style imposed on a horse. Various reasons for this have been proferred, including keeping the horse's hair out of the poop bag.
I've received a few other miscellaneous explanations for the term by e-mail, but I have yet to find any information about the leap from the horse tail to the forehead.
Hi Tang,
"Bangs" is the American term for "fringe".
It took me a while to understand the language when I first came to
America, but, I'm fluent now. ;^)
Cheers,
PJ
Believe it or not, there are new pics already posted. They are just not yet linked. There's one more picture I'm hoping to get to complete the next edition of the Samson page.
The pictures are great. When did the House of David play ball? I can't really tell from the pictures.
That's some of the information I want to add. If memory serves, it was from the teens through the thirties or forties.
Know any history behind The House of David baseball team? Especially
why the men on the team grew their hair, and how they got the name
"House of David"? Makes me think they were some kind of religious
group of baseball players.
You would be correct. I will include this information when I officially publish the page.
