Well guys, without knowing it until I just did this upload, it suddenly dawned on me: Why not? Of Course! The answer to a prayer for those who are always so worried, hung-up and bent out of shape about the Awkward Stage and feel that they must hide everything under a hat. (As if this wouldn't stop people from guessing anyway.) LOL
So, for all of the guys who go the "Hat Route," how about this one? And now, I am going to be wearing this hat to the stores, the Gym, everywhere! Afterall, my own hair is a bit "longish" right now, so the perfect excuse to hide it! :-)
Take care all-
Justin~
ps: No need to watch much, but if curious, just the 1st 10 seconds is all it takes to see the hat of your dreams. :-)
Nice hat, Justin, and a nice holiday gift of music, too. You just can't go wrong with Charlie Brown :)
Thanks for sharing your talent, and best wishes for a happy holiday season!

The incredibly authentic Charlie Brown tree at the end was a great touch. See, I DID watch, listen to, and enjoy the whole thing!

OMG.........I'm surprised your still alive! LOL :-) I've been hearing about one blooper note I made in "Hark the Herald Angels." (And to think, I thought nobody would even notice.) Oh well, my brains dropped out 20 years ago so what the heck. :-)
Justin~
Hey Val
Thanks so much! :-) For once some people will now know that I can play other than Classical even if it is on an 1879 instrument that I restored to playing condition. LOL
Wishing you and your family a most wonderful holiday season! :-)
Take care-
Justin~
Hi Justin,
Well I also watched the whole thing as your playing and that organ are very impressive:)I'm amazed how you are able to restore an instrument that old as where do you get parts for it? I'm imaging you almost have to fabricate your own.Still great concert, cool hat, and neat Charlie Brown Xmas tree!LOL.Cheers my friend and Merry Christmas to you and your family:)
Mark
Thank you Mark.
Parts are mostly leather and felts of various thickness. If something is missing, one has to try and figure-out or fabricate something that will do the job. Bellows cloth is available, though has become quite spendy now. But, once in correctly should last 50-100 years. It is very picky work to say the least to bring one of these back.
Would you believe I had that hat on everywhere I went today and nobody notice? And yet they notice a guy with hair only 4" long and are such critics. Just crazy!
Merry Christmas! :-)
Justin~
Great Vid Justin you are a gifted musician love listening to you play.
Thank you and so glad you enjoyed the music. :-)
Justin~
Hi Justin,
Ho, ho, ho, and a Merry Christmas to you too, cool hat, in the spirit of the season, and a beautiful tree in the background!
You are exceptionally talented in the musical arts, thank you for sharing this lovely music with us, and it is awesome to know that you have this hobby that you genuinely love.
Take care, Justin, and I do believe that I owe you an email! I will try to get one out either later today or early tomorrow.
Take care,
David
Hey David
Thanks David and glad you enjoyed that little "off the cuff" musical. Alas, the camera of 3+ years isn't as good as the ones available now, at least in that price range. Talent? Well, I should really practice one of these days and get back to about 10 years ago. But yes, a fun hobbie and those organs are all over the place and many can be found for free. (And, they are very good too!) Just look them up on Craigslist in your area.
Makes me kind of chuckle that some have written "I didn't know you could play THAT kind of music." LOL If you can play the complete works of Bach, then you can play anything.
I had to laugh at the notice on that hat when I bought it: "This is not a toy." Oh my, I couldn't have guessed! :-)
Please don't worry about an email. You know how bad I am with those these days. It got to the point on You Tube that there were so many I have just had to let most slide. Too many for one person. Now I just direct them to the video that answers their question.
Take care and all the best-
Justin~
Well, I too watched your vid thru to the end - and totally enjoyed it. Awesome organ and awesome playing. It must be extremely satisfying to restore something like that into perfect working condition.
One request though. Could you play some Rammstein or Combichrist songs next time! :)
Awesome hat too. Though I'm not sure if I'd wear it myself. I've always found it hard to get into the Christmas spirit since both my parents died within a few days of it (my father when I was a kid and my mother recently).
A guy in my office has taken to wearing one of those Santa hats at work but sadly he has short hair. Maybe I should compete? I figure they look better with long hair poking out!

Hi Damon
*Sure is, especially for an excentric person like myself. :-)
*Sure, but believe it or not, I have never heard of these composers! :-0
*What a shame and I am very sorry to learn of this. I can well see why.
*Well, give it a try. Who knows, it might even be a fun experience for you. :-)
Take care-
Justin~
Bands! ;)
Rammstein:
Combichrist:
Not quite sure if your 1879 Clough and Warren is up to it! :)
I'll try a Santa hat at the Christmas party.
